Alan Wood targeted and groomed children between 1980 and 2010, gaining the trust of their parents and enticing youngsters to his home with toys, games and video games before bribing them into sexual acts. He abused seven victims, some as young as seven, and tortured them by electrocuting them with a power box. Wood was found guilty after trial of more than 40 offences, including rape, attempted rape and indecent assaults.
