On 25 February 2024, just before 10pm, two Police Community Support Officers on routine patrol in the Witts Hill area of Southampton spotted Steven Wood entering a Tesco Express. He took items including fish and meat products without paying and attempted to leave. When engaged by the officers, he became aggressive and violent, assaulting one officer. He was arrested and charged.

Daniel Parker, 41, of Aldwick Close, Farnborough, stole food and red wine worth £63.70 from M&S at the BP fuel station on Prospect Road on 23 April and 24 April. The first theft occurred hours after he was handed a suspended sentence and three-year Criminal Behaviour Order at Basingstoke Magistrates Court for shoplifting at the same store. The Criminal Behaviour Order banned him from entering the fuel station and shop on Prospect Road and required him to place all items in baskets or trolleys and leave the premises if asked to do so. He was arrested, charged, pleaded guilty, and jailed.
