He brought at least 14kg of cocaine (street value £1.4million) and 9kg of cannabis (£60,000-£90,000) into Norfolk, traveling from West Walton to Wisbech and Peterborough. Evidence suggested he was looking to set up a cannabis factory. On June 3, 2021, police executed a warrant at his home, where he attempted to destroy his phone and dispose of SIM cards; cocaine was found in his kitchen cupboard and boxes of drugs at the property.
Previously convicted of conspiracy to supply cocaine and cannabis, as well as failing to provide the PIN code for a mobile phone seized on his arrest. Jury found him guilty on September 26 at Lynn Crown Court.

She claimed the phone was in the centre console and she only tapped it with her nail after it switched off post-petrol station, causing it to light up brightly, and denied holding it or swerving.

On September 11, 2025, Laura Aves-Carter, 32, of Long Sutton, was driving along Lynn Road in Terrington St Clement with her ten-year-old son in the front seat after picking him up from school. The roads were wet and the sun was low in the sky. She failed to see a 73-year-old cyclist riding in front of her and crashed into him, causing him to somersault through the air and land on the ground. The victim suffered fractures to his spine, neck, and ribs, along with short-term memory loss, constant ringing in one ear, scarring on his face, difficulty drinking, and sleep issues limited to four hours per night. Prior to the crash, he was a still working, very active 73-year-old. The incident has had a profound impact on Aves-Carter as well.
Pleaded guilty to causing serious injury by careless driving. Claimed she did not see the cyclist. Had her ten-year-old son in the car. No compensation ordered as per sentencing act.
