Quasim Abbas, a 37-year-old from Bradshaw Close, Huntingdon, was involved in dealing cocaine and cannabis. He was witnessed by Cambridgeshire Police officers dealing drugs from a parked car in Huntingdon. A search of his home uncovered a brown bag containing £4,000 in cash. The offences occurred prior to his initial sentencing in 2020, and this hearing addressed the proceeds of his crimes.
Was jailed for two-and-a-half years in February 2020 for drug dealing. Found guilty of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply, possession of Class B drugs with intent to supply, and money laundering offences. Financial investigators determined he earned the amount through illegal activities.
Carl Scarrow
Dangerous Driving *

Carl Scarrow, 43, was spotted by officers driving a black Vauxhall Vectra on the A1123 near Harrison Way in St Ives at about 3.40am on December 1. He drove normally at first but then turned into Broad Leas and continued driving despite being signalled to stop. He overtook two vehicles while turning left into East Street, colliding with a parked Toyota Aygo, an Audi A3, and two houses. He was uninsured, held only a provisional licence, and failed to provide a drugs wipe test. Structural engineers inspected one of the houses, and supports were needed to remove the vehicle.
Pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis, dangerous driving, no insurance, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, failing to provide a specimen for analysis, and four counts of criminal damage. Also banned from driving for 29 months. DC Samantha Chapman noted that Scarrow drove incredibly dangerously and put people in serious danger.
Jack Mitchell

Jack Mitchell, 31, entered a home in Huntingdon through a small window at approximately 2am on November 2. He initially tried the front door, which was locked, and was discovered inside looking through the victim's purse. He stole a wallet, a front door key, a pair of glasses, and some earphones. Mitchell apologised, claiming he was drunk and confused, before fleeing. He was later identified through fingerprints on the window and a photo taken by the victim, leading to his arrest.
Pleaded guilty to burglary at a previous hearing. DC Zoe Bramley commented on the impact of the crime on the victims and noted that Mitchell did not consider the consequences of his actions.
Dr Jonathon Dean
Theft and possession of controlled drugs *

Dr Jonathon Dean, a doctor at Whipps Cross Hospital in Leytonstone, east London, stole an assortment of drugs commonly used in anaesthesia from the hospital. In December 2018, he travelled to Cambridge and injected a young woman, referred to as Miss A, with a general anaesthetic for recreational purposes as part of an agreed sexual activity, despite lacking the necessary skills and competence to administer such medication outside a hospital setting. He knew Miss A was vulnerable at the time. Between January 2022 and March 2023, he attended Whipps Cross Hospital and/or Royal London Hospital on multiple occasions against instructions and without appropriate reason.
Admitted to nine counts of theft of drugs from Whipps Cross Hospital and two counts of possessing a controlled drug under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. Conduct was sexually motivated and involved injecting a vulnerable woman with anaesthetic for recreational purposes.
Leon Richardson

Leon Richardson, 22, of Mill Road, Cambridge, began communicating with a schoolboy via social media on October 10. The conversations started innocently but quickly became sexual, with Richardson sending explicit images and videos of himself and requesting the boy to do the same. He persuaded the boy to engage in sexual acts with his younger brother, which were recorded and shared with Richardson. This abuse continued until December 29, when the boy's parents discovered the messages after noticing his withdrawn behaviour. Richardson later confessed at a police station.
Pleaded guilty to the charges. Also given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order to run indefinitely and must sign the Sex Offenders Register for life. DC Kev Foxcroft from the Paedophile Online Investigation Team commented on the predatory nature of the offences.
Reece Ludlow
Causing actual bodily harm *

Reece Ludlow, a prisoner at HMP Whitemoor, approached the victim at about 6.30pm on September 20, 2022, and threw a cup of boiling blue liquid over him, causing burns and blisters to the victim’s shoulder and torso. He then punched the victim in the face several times, leaving cuts and bruises. The victim returned to his cell, and prison officers intervened.
Admitted causing actual bodily harm. The sentence is to be served consecutively to his current sentence. DC Emma Purser commented that Ludlow has no regard for the law and continues to act violently, even in prison, and that this sentence demonstrates consequences for actions behind bars.

Dangerous driving and criminal damage *

Zeeshan Ellam, aged 26, was already wanted by another police force when he was spotted driving a silver Peugeot 308 in St Ives on September 15, 2023. He attempted to evade police by ramming into a police car, driving through a car park, a small fence, and over a footpath onto Reynolds Way, causing significant damage. He handed himself in at Thorpe Wood Police Station in Peterborough on September 29, 2023.
Pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and criminal damage. Was wanted for prison recall and had caused more than £2,000 worth of damage.
Erald Perlica
Possession with intent to supply class A drugs *

On 20 December 2023, police responded to concerns about anti-social behaviour and drug dealing in Benedict Street, Ely. A member of the public provided information about those involved. Officers visited a flat where Erald Perlica, aged 27, refused to open the door. Suspected drug packages were seen being thrown from the bathroom window. Police forced entry, arrested him, and found further drugs and cash inside the flat, as well as a sock containing drugs in his vehicle parked outside.
Previously pleaded guilty. Sentenced following a community tip-off that led to police action against anti-social behaviour and drug dealing.
Barrie Clarke
Rape and Indecent Assault *

Barrie Clarke, aged 66, was found guilty of raping and indecently assaulting one victim who was as young as eight at the time, and indecently assaulting a second girl under the age of 15. The offences occurred in North Hertfordshire between the late 1980s and early 1990s, involving predatory behaviour that had a profound and lasting impact on the victims.
Pleaded not guilty and was found guilty after a seven-day trial. Detective Constable Liz McGrath commended the victims' bravery and noted the long-lasting impact of Clarke's offences, describing him as a sexual predator who refused to hold himself accountable.
Joshua Mckay

Joshua McKay, 26, of Whitwell, Peterborough, raped a woman while she slept between 2016 and 2017 in Peterborough. When she woke up during the assault, he told her she was dreaming. He later sent two handwritten letters apologising for hurting her and messages in 2017 admitting the rape and asking her not to report it to the police. The woman reported the incident in 2019, leading to his arrest. In interview, he claimed consensual sex and denied writing the letters, but forensic evidence confirmed his fingerprints on one. He stood trial for five days in January 2024 and was convicted of one count of rape after less than two hours of deliberation.
Found guilty by jury after a five-day trial. Initially denied the offence but admitted it in messages while asking the victim not to go to the police. DC Lisa Marston commended the victim's bravery.

He also possessed cannabis, and investigations revealed his role in exploiting vulnerable people through drug dealing.

Aaron Readman
Dangerous driving *

13 months imprisonment and disqualified from driving for 3 years and 6 months
Aaron Readman, 28, was reported driving his blue BMW erratically in Stanground at around 7.30pm on Saturday 6 December. Officers intercepted the vehicle near his home in Hardwick, but he fled, triggering a high-speed pursuit. He reached speeds of up to 85mph in a 60mph zone, ignored road hazards, braked erratically, and rammed the front of a police car. The pursuit ended when the BMW crashed into a fence at his home in The Pastures. Readman was found hiding in a nearby shed and arrested. He failed a roadside breath test, revealing he was more than twice the legal alcohol limit.
Pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, drink driving, driving without a licence or insurance, and failing to provide a specimen for analysis. Drove extremely dangerously, hit speeds well above the legal limit, and rammed a police vehicle.
Patrick Connors
Indecent exposure *

Patrick Connors, 22, of Carshalton Road, Banstead, Surrey, approached five different women between 13 and 17 June 2023 in Sawston, Arbury, and Great Shelford. He drove next to them and asked for directions before indecently exposing himself. Connors was arrested on 19 June 2023.
Pleaded guilty to six counts of indecent exposure and one count of outraging public decency. Placed on the Sex Offenders Register indefinitely.
Matthew Tolcher
Conveying a List ‘A’ prohibited article into prison *

Matthew Tolcher, 34, of Essendine, Stamford, attempted to smuggle crack cocaine and buprenorphine tablets into Peterborough prison in March 2022 by disguising the handover with a prolonged handshake and hug to an inmate. Prison officers spotted the exchange and confiscated the wrap containing the prohibited drugs.
Pleaded guilty to conveying a List ‘A’ prohibited article into prison. Detective Constable Chris Enright commented on the seriousness of the offence and the effectiveness of prison staff.

Matthew Curtis, 40, of Pendragon Hill, Papworth Everard, smashed glass on a door to break into a house in St Neots, Cambridgeshire, between 24 December and 1 January. He stole copper piping worth up to £700 and caused £1000 of damage. While in the area, he attempted to break into a neighbouring home, causing £2,500 worth of damage. Police found Curtis’ DNA at the first property.

Liam Haliday, a 23-year-old drug dealer from Hemingford Grey, was observed by police officers getting into a taxi on November 1. He attempted to flee, throwing a bag of cocaine valued at £2,500 onto a garage roof. Following his arrest, authorities found him in possession of cannabis, scales, deal bags, a burner phone, £90 in cash, and an iPhone, all of which were linked to drug dealing activities.
Pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply class A drugs. Detective Constable Matthew Filby commented that the arrest was made by vigilant officers and highlighted the community impact of class A drugs.
Jamie Barnes
Arranging the commission of a child sex offence *

Jamie Barnes, 47, of Rivendale, Werrington, Peterborough, was arrested and his electronic devices seized after officers received intelligence about his online activity between November 2020 and January 2022. Indecent images of children were found on his devices along with messages showing he was arranging for children to be sexually abused and livestreamed online.
Found guilty of arranging the commission of a child sex offence and two counts of making an indecent photograph of a child. Ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register and given an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order. Admitted possession of heroin and cannabis.
Asim Bashir
Causing death by dangerous driving *

On October 8, 2021, Asim Bashir was driving a grey BMW M8 westbound on the A47 near Wittering with his family as passengers. He attempted to overtake multiple vehicles dangerously, leading to a head-on collision with a red Ford Fiesta driven by Christopher Hunt. The collision caused Mr Hunt's vehicle to go airborne, crash through a tree line, and explode, resulting in his death. Bashir's family sustained serious injuries, with his four-year-old son requiring a wheelchair.
Pleaded not guilty but was found guilty after a seven-day trial. DC Kevin Drury commented on the reckless driving and its tragic consequences.
James Clark

James Clark, a 72-year-old bus driver, indecently assaulted a teenage girl on multiple occasions on a bus in Cambridge between 1985 and 1987. Micah Strachan

CCTV footage captured the victim being repeatedly punched in the face before falling to the floor, where he was then kicked to his body and repeatedly stamped on. One man was left with minor injuries to his face, while a second man was hospitalised with a bleed on his brain and fractures to his spine and face. The pair claimed self-defence, but were found guilty after a trial.
Found guilty of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) and affray following a trial in December last year. Made subject of 10-year restraining order prohibiting contact with victims.
Nathan Lovell

Nathan Lovell, 33, from Wisbech, sexually abused two young girls between January 2021 and June 2023. He possessed over 1,000 indecent images of children on his phone, including 14 category A images, and paid nearly £5,000 for adults to abuse children worldwide. He was involved in online conversations directing and facilitating such abuses, with evidence from screen recordings and social media enquiries.
Pleaded guilty to three indecent image charges; found guilty on 15 other charges after an eight-day trial. Judge Mark Bishop noted he posed a significant risk to children and imposed a restraining order and Sexual Harm Prevention Order for 25 years.

Fezhan Bahadur, 25, of Sallowbush Road, Huntingdon, breached an indefinite restraining order issued in January 2022 by contacting his former partner through multiple social media platforms using false accounts from December 2023. He made threats to harm her, damage her property, stab her dad, and assault her mum and sister. He also directly threatened the victim's family and arranged for at least three people to attend their home in Huntingdonshire since April 2023, where they made threats and damaged the house and cars by throwing bricks. Bahadur was arrested at Stansted Airport on August 22, 2023, upon his return from Dubai.
Pleaded guilty to harassment by breaching a restraining order. Judge Hurst described him as a narcissist and stated it was the worst case of breach the court had seen. Also handed another indefinite restraining order against the victim and her family.
Ashley Till

Ashley Till, 37, of no fixed address, breached his banning order on 14 occasions between November 6, 2023, and February 1, 2024, stealing items including steak, chocolate and laundry products from the Co-op on Milton Road and Tesco Express on Christ's Lane. He also broke into a pharmacy and stole £50 of prescription medication.
Pleaded guilty to 14 counts of theft, 14 breaches of a CBO, bike theft and burglary. Previously given a two-year Criminal Behaviour Order in September 2023 banning him from entering any Co-op or Tesco in Cambridgeshire.
Louis Kidd

Louis Kidd, 39, of Arrington, stole more than £2,000 worth of alcohol and £142 in cash from a business in Sussex Street between December 16 and 25, 2023. He also broke into the Asda warehouse at the Beehive Centre and targeted Co-ops in Milton Road and Hills Road on nine occasions.
Entered guilty pleas to nine counts of breaching a CBO, nine counts of shoplifting and six counts of burglary. Previously given a three-year Criminal Behaviour Order in April 2023 banning him from entering any Co-op in Cambridgeshire.
Lee Holliday

Lee Holliday, 43, of Welland Road, Dogsthorpe, Peterborough, ran towards a woman's car as she was leaving the Westwood Centre, Peterborough, on July 31, 2023. He entered the back seat, then tried to grab the ignition keys and steering wheel, put his hands around the victim's neck, and attempted to pull her out of the vehicle, ripping her shirt and necklace. The victim's daughter intervened until police arrived.
Convicted after trial of common assault. Sentence included activation of a two-year suspended sentence for drug offences.
Thomas Walsh

Thomas Walsh, 39, attacked his mother at her house in Landbeach, near Cambridge, after she took away his speaker to stop him playing loud music. In a rage, he ran at her, stabbed her in the head with a fork, pinned her to the floor, and demanded her phone. She escaped by throwing her phone across the room and fled to a neighbour's house to call the police. Walsh had left the scene in a car he was not authorised to drive and was later arrested after driving recklessly with a damaged door, shredded tyre, and a dog in the passenger seat.
Sentenced for assault and other offences including shoplifting, threatening behaviour, and dangerous driving, to run concurrent. PC Alec Cunningham commented on his violent, aggressive, and unpredictable behaviour, hoping he receives help in prison.
Mary Casey
Drink-driving and causing grievous bodily harm *

Mary Casey, 34, from St Albans, drunkenly drove the wrong way down a one-way street in Cambridge in July 2022. She overtook four cars at traffic lights, sped around a corner through no entry signs, lost control, and crashed into two parked cars. After the crash, she reversed the car and hit her one-year-old great-niece, who was on the pavement, causing a bleed on the brain, a fractured skull, and fractured ribs.
Drunken driving incident resulting in injury to her great-niece; sentenced in February.

On the afternoon of 30 September 2023, Kiama Guy was witnessed openly dealing class A and B drugs from the boot of a parked white Audi on Regent Terrace in Cambridge. He handed over small packets containing cannabis, ketamine, MDMA and Psilocin to multiple people in return for cash. A member of the public reported the activity to police, who arrived to find Guy fleeing the scene. He later returned topless and without the holdall, claiming he had been eating at a nearby restaurant. Police seized the bag containing the drugs.
Pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cannabis, ketamine, MDMA and Psilocin.
Abdul Kareem
Possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin *

On 21 September 2023, Abdul Kareem, 19, of Cromwell Road, Millfield, Peterborough, ran from police officers after they approached him and others in an underpass at Bourges Boulevard. He discarded a machete hidden in his trousers into a bush during the chase. Officers caught him and found cannabis on him. A strip-search in custody revealed 66 wraps of crack cocaine and heroin hidden in his boxers.
Pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, possession with intent to supply heroin, possession of cannabis and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
Timothy Addy

Timothy Addy, 56, of Barton Road, Comberton, near Cambridge, prowled around three women as he walked his dog and repeatedly displayed strange behaviour. Police were called in November 2021 after one victim noticed a torch beam being shone in her bedroom window, between 4.20am and 6.30am, up to four times a week. Eventually she looked out and saw Addy looking up towards her. She had recognised him as previously making her feel uncomfortable when she was out walking or running. The victim had also noticed a bra, which did not belong to her, hanging on her fence post and, one morning, she had drawn up her blind to see a pair of knickers in her garden. A second victim saw Addy staring through her windows two years before, noticed a bright light being shone through her window, and during lockdown in 2020, Addy would approach her almost every time and make degrading comments about what she was wearing, leaving her feeling very uncomfortable. The victim told officers Addy had stopped her in a shop and made sexually explicit comment before closely walking past her and grabbing her inappropriately. A third victim came forward and said in May 2021 she had come out of her home to find “I love you” written in the light dirt on the driver’s side window of her car, which then happened twice more. And on one morning, she discovered the same message had been written on the front windscreen – in letters as tall as the windscreen – but this time so it could be read from inside the car, which left her feeling scared. She also recalled Addy looking through her living room window while she was on the sofa, and when she confronted him after spotting him outside her house again, he apologised.
Pleaded guilty to two charges of stalking involving serious alarm and breach of a stalking protection order.
Snowden Mayanika

Snowden Mayanika, 21, of Broadway, Peterborough, was one of four people found inside 25B Lincoln Road, a flat partially closed by police in December 2023 following complaints of drug dealing, anti-social behaviour, and exploitation of the tenant. On 3 January 2024, police searched the flat and discovered a plastic bag containing £400 in cash and a block of crack cocaine worth about £4,000. A search of Mayanika in custody found 16 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine hidden in his underwear. Analysis of mobile phones confirmed a burner phone used as a deal line tracked to the same locations as Mayanika’s personal phone.
Previously admitted possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin, as well as breaching a closure order.
Abbas Abbass

Abbas Abbass, 40, approached the victim at about 2am on 17 December 2023 when she was walking in Bridge Street, Peterborough city centre. He began asking her where she was going and whether she wanted him to order a taxi. Despite her refusal, he asked if she was single and tried to kiss her. After leaving, CCTV showed him following her to Town Bridge. The victim felt unwell and dizzy; Abbass caught up on Oundle Road and raped her twice in a nearby recreation ground. He then took her by taxi to his home in Raedwald Court, Millfield, Peterborough, where she awoke the next morning and he sexually assaulted her again. She pretended to be asleep, then pushed him away, left, and reported to Thorpe Wood Police Station.
Found guilty of two counts of rape and assault by penetration. Will spend a further six years on licence and has been placed on the Sex Offenders Register for an indefinite period. Described as a dangerous sexual predator who carried out multiple sexual assaults, leaving lasting trauma.
Lee Welsford
Possession with intent to supply cocaine *

Lee Welsford, 37, was arrested on 5 December 2023 in New Road, Whittlesey, by Cambridgeshire police on patrol. Officers stopped his car after spotting it pull up alongside a known drug user, suspecting a drug deal. A stop-search revealed Ziplock bags containing over £1,600 worth of cocaine hidden under the gearstick and handbrake, plus empty bags in the driver's door. A search of his home in Hunsbury Close found £1,770 in cash. Mobile phone analysis confirmed his involvement in cocaine supply.
Pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine and possession of criminal property (cash). Denied charge of being concerned in the supply of cocaine, which will lie on file. On 25 March 2022, at about 1pm, officers conducted a warrant at Colin Day's property in Hilda Clarke Close, Chatteris. Day, aged 49, was seen throwing packets of cocaine out of a first-floor window. A search revealed cocaine and cannabis worth up to £14,800, nearly £6,000 in cash, and scales. Analysis of his mobile phone showed messages consistent with drug dealing. In interview, he admitted possessing the drugs but claimed they were for personal use.
Found guilty following a trial. Admitted possession with intent to supply cannabis and being concerned in the supply of the drug, but denied possession with intent to supply cocaine.
Colette Carre
Causing unnecessary suffering to an animal *

15-month prison sentence suspended for 12 months
Colette Carre, 56, of Acacia Grove, March, failed to provide prompt or adequate professional veterinary care and attention to her female greyhound type dog called Defa for signs of ill health, including a large tumourous mass on her snout/muzzle, weight loss, and poor bodily condition. The defendant had made an appointment to have Defa put to sleep, but concerns were raised over the dog's condition and the matter was reported to the RSPCA. Witnesses described Defa as emaciated with a strong smell of putrefaction and a large ulcerated tumourous mass the size of a grapefruit on the front of her mouth and snout, measuring approximately 14cm in diameter side to side and 7cm front to back. A vet's examination confirmed emaciation, a large putrefying and necrosing tumour over her upper jaw obliterating the nostrils, an overpowering smell of rotting flesh and purulent discharge, dehydration, and inability to eat, drink, or pant due to the tumour, which was incredibly painful and caused suffering for at least two months.
Pleaded guilty. Also received a lifetime ban on keeping all animals, a community order including 12 mental health treatment requirement sessions and 10 rehabilitation activity requirement days, and ordered to pay a £187 victim surcharge. Judge commented that his stomach had never turned so much by what he had seen, referring to photos of the dog. In mitigation, defendant cited mental health issues and financial difficulties.
John Daffin
Causing injury by dangerous driving *

John Daffin, 31, of Cornfield Lane, Littleport, was driving a stolen Blue Audi A6 and overtaking vehicles at dangerous speeds along the A10 near Milton at about 12.40pm on 28 August 2023, when he crossed into the opposite carriageway and collided head-on with a Ford Focus carrying two men aged 68 and 43, a 71-year-old woman, and an eight-year-old boy from the same family who were travelling back from a holiday. The victims suffered serious injuries including fractures to the ribs, bleeding on the brain, and punctured lungs, and were treated at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. Daffin fled the scene into nearby hedgerows but was identified via public footage and later arrested.
Pleaded guilty to four counts of causing injury by dangerous driving, failing to stop, and driving without insurance. Disqualified from driving for three years and six months.
Juned Miah

Juned Miah, 33, and his wife assisted drug dealers in Cambridge to move criminal funds to and from different accounts between 2020 and 2021. The pair, of Darwin Drive, were found guilty at a trial in 2024. Following sentencing, a financial investigation discovered they had benefitted by £216,036.49 from their criminal conduct.

Noel Brome-Hinds, an 81-year-old paedophile, raped a young girl more than 30 years ago and committed 18 other charges of historic child abuse dating back 50 years. The abuse started in the early 1970s and continued until the early 1990s. The offences came to light after victims felt ready to share their experiences. One victim reported being raped and feeling unable to tell anyone to avoid being a burden. Another recalled abuse starting from when she was a toddler, occurring more than 50 times, causing lifelong struggles.
Convicted after trial of 19 offences of historic child abuse, having denied the charges. DC Jessica Martin hopes the outcome brings closure for the victims.
Oliver Nicholls
Causing death by dangerous driving *

On 10 September 2023, at about 8.20pm, Oliver Nicholls, driving a Mini Cooper at excessive speed (56mph in a 40mph zone, reaching up to 71mph), overtook a vehicle turning left into New Road on Oakington Road towards Girton, misjudged the road, mounted the pavement, and struck 14-year-old cyclist Isla Cochrane who was riding fully in the separated cycle lane with lights and helmet. Nicholls thought he was travelling at 40mph and mistook the cycle path's cat's eyes for the middle of the road; he did not see her, hit the kerb, braked hard, but it was too late. He stopped after the crash, called an ambulance, and both he and his passenger were uninjured. Isla was rushed to Addenbrooke’s Hospital but died of her injuries in the early hours of the following day.
Pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving. Disqualified from driving for 5 years and must pass an extended test before regaining licence. Described as genuinely remorseful in mitigation.

The 60-year-old victim allowed her inside, but Kennedy and Nash followed, stabbing the man in his arm, chest, and abdomen, and hitting him over the head with a machete. The trio ransacked the house looking for drugs before leaving with a small amount of cash and a candle.
Pleaded guilty to joint enterprise grievous bodily harm without intent, joint enterprise theft, and possession of a machete. Made subject of a five-year restraining order prohibiting contact with the victim.

Alqasim Najib
Possession with intent to supply cocaine *

Alqasim Najib, 27, was arrested at his home in Salaam Court, Millfield, Peterborough, on 14 July 2020 after neighbourhood policing officers carried out a drugs warrant. Upon police forcing entry to the home, a package containing 70 bags of cocaine worth £3,500 was thrown from an upstairs bedroom window, landing on a porch roof. Officers found Najib inside the locked bedroom, along with £490 in cash, his driving licence, a bank card hidden in a pillowcase, and four mobile phones containing messages related to drug dealing.
Previously admitted possession with intent to supply cocaine. The judge ordered £490 in cash seized from his bedroom to be donated to Women’s Aid. £3,500 worth of cocaine destroyed.
Selena Rosella

In the early hours of 19 November 2023, Selena Rosella, 37, of Shakespeare Avenue, New England, along with John Kennedy and Derek Nash, entered the victim's home in Eastfield Road, Peterborough. Rosella knocked on the door at about 5.30am, claiming to have had an argument with her boyfriend, and the 60-year-old victim allowed her inside. Kennedy and Nash followed, stabbing the man in his arm, chest, and abdomen, and hitting him over the head with a machete. The trio ransacked the house looking for drugs before leaving with a small amount of cash and a candle.
Pleaded guilty to joint enterprise grievous bodily harm without intent and joint enterprise theft. Made subject of a five-year restraining order prohibiting contact with the victim.
Glen Johnson
Indecent assault on a child and child cruelty *

Glen Johnson, of Waltham Close, Peterborough, sexually abused two girls and ill-treated four children in the 1990s. He was arrested in 2020, admitted the abuse in police interview but answered 'no comment' to the cruelty charges. The abuse was hugely traumatic for the victims, with lasting impact on their lives.
Pleaded guilty to four counts of child cruelty and three counts of indecent assault on a child. Ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register for life, given restraining orders against his victims indefinitely, and handed a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for life.
Aaron Goosey
Making indecent images of children *

Aaron Goosey, 44, of Pennine Way, Peterborough, was found to possess 46 indecent images of children and one video on his phone, which was seized during an unannounced visit by officers in April. The images were sent via a deleted messaging app, and he had also deleted Facebook Messenger chats and failed to notify police of a new alias, breaching his SHPO and Sex Offenders Register requirements. He has 36 prior convictions including exposure and making indecent images.
Admitted charges including two counts of making indecent images of children, failing to comply with Sex Offenders Register notification requirements and breaching a SHPO. Placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life and the SHPO extended indefinitely.
