Jason O'Dell, a convicted rapist recently released from prison, turned up at a family member's home in Longstanton at around 5.30pm on February 17, 2025. O'Dell then grabbed a six-inch knife from a block, pinned the victim against the worktop, and threatened to 'end him' while pressing the knife into the victim's side. The victim wrestled the knife away and called for help, managing to get O'Dell out of the house. He was arrested a few hours later in Cambridge.

On November 5, 2024, he parked across from a café she visited. Two days later, he followed her to work, shouting, beeping, and flashing headlights. On November 13, 2024, he approached her while she walked to her car, prompting her to call 999. Officers arrested him nearby and found a knuckleduster in his car. He was also driving without a licence or insurance. In interview, he denied stalking and provided excuses for his presence.

Finbow met these victims through his work as a priest, running youth social clubs, football clubs, and charity events in Cambridgeshire during the 1980s and 1990s. He initially denied the allegations as 'nonsense' but later pleaded guilty to eight counts of indecent assault of a girl under 14, four counts of indecent assault of a boy under 14, two counts of indecent assault of a girl under 16, and one count of indecent assault on a woman over 16.

On July 31, 2025, Marc Sunderland, aged 44, went on an overnight burglary spree in Dogsthorpe and Eye, Peterborough. He attempted to break into two properties in Eastern Avenue around 9pm, was disturbed by a victim, and fled. He then burgled a property in Eye Road, stealing items including a bike, which he later tried to sell back to the victim around 11.40pm but handed it back after being challenged. He continued to Eye, stealing a blue Mercedes GLC, an Apple laptop, and a purse from a property in The Cloisters around 1.30am. The car was found later that morning in Thorney Road. He also broke into a garage in Peterborough Road, made a racist comment, broke into two other outbuildings, damaged a fence in The Cloisters, and attempted to enter a car in Monks Drive. He was identified via CCTV and arrested.
