He was witnessed by Cambridgeshire Police officers dealing drugs from a parked car in Huntingdon. A search of his home uncovered a brown bag containing £4,000 in cash. The offences occurred prior to his initial sentencing in 2020, and this hearing addressed the proceeds of his crimes.
Was jailed for two-and-a-half years in February 2020 for drug dealing. Found guilty of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply, possession of Class B drugs with intent to supply, and money laundering offences. Financial investigators determined he earned the amount through illegal activities.
Carl Scarrow
Dangerous Driving *
Sentence
10 months imprisonment
Carl Scarrow, 43, was spotted by officers driving a black Vauxhall Vectra on the A1123 near Harrison Way in St Ives at about 3.40am on December 1. He drove normally at first but then turned into Broad Leas and continued driving despite being signalled to stop. He overtook two vehicles while turning left into East Street, colliding with a parked Toyota Aygo, an Audi A3, and two houses. He was uninsured, held only a provisional licence, and failed to provide a drugs wipe test. Structural engineers inspected one of the houses, and supports were needed to remove the vehicle.
Pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis, dangerous driving, no insurance, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, failing to provide a specimen for analysis, and four counts of criminal damage. Also banned from driving for 29 months. DC Samantha Chapman noted that Scarrow drove incredibly dangerously and put people in serious danger.

Assault causing grievous bodily harm without intent *
Sentence
3 years imprisonment
Nathan Deacon, 36, was on his way to collect his evening meal at about 6.30pm on 14 September 2020 when he was stopped by the prison officer at a gate in HMP Whitemoor. Deacon was wearing a dressing gown, which was not allowed in the catering area. When challenged about this, Deacon became argumentative and attempted to push by the victim. As the officer tried to restrain him, Deacon leant in and bit off his ear lobe. The officer was taken to hospital, but it was established the ear lobe could not be re-attached.
Pleaded guilty to assault causing grievous bodily harm without intent. Additional sentence at the end of his current sentence.
Jack Mitchell
Burglary *
Sentence
2 years imprisonment, suspended for 2 years
Jack Mitchell, 31, entered a home in Huntingdon through a small window at approximately 2am on November 2. He initially tried the front door, which was locked, and was discovered inside looking through the victim's purse. He stole a wallet, a front door key, a pair of glasses, and some earphones. Mitchell apologised, claiming he was drunk and confused, before fleeing. He was later identified through fingerprints on the window and a photo taken by the victim, leading to his arrest.
Pleaded guilty to burglary at a previous hearing. DC Zoe Bramley commented on the impact of the crime on the victims and noted that Mitchell did not consider the consequences of his actions.
Dr Jonathon Dean
Theft and possession of controlled drugs *
Sentence
25 months imprisonment
Dr Jonathon Dean, a doctor at Whipps Cross Hospital in Leytonstone, east London, stole an assortment of drugs commonly used in anaesthesia from the hospital. In December 2018, he travelled to Cambridge and injected a young woman, referred to as Miss A, with a general anaesthetic for recreational purposes as part of an agreed sexual activity, despite lacking the necessary skills and competence to administer such medication outside a hospital setting. He knew Miss A was vulnerable at the time. Between January 2022 and March 2023, he attended Whipps Cross Hospital and/or Royal London Hospital on multiple occasions against instructions and without appropriate reason.
Admitted to nine counts of theft of drugs from Whipps Cross Hospital and two counts of possessing a controlled drug under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. Conduct was sexually motivated and involved injecting a vulnerable woman with anaesthetic for recreational purposes.

He then punched the victim in the face several times, leaving cuts and bruises. The victim returned to his cell, and prison officers intervened.
Admitted causing actual bodily harm. The sentence is to be served consecutively to his current sentence. DC Emma Purser commented that Ludlow has no regard for the law and continues to act violently, even in prison, and that this sentence demonstrates consequences for actions behind bars.
Leon Richardson
Engaging in sexual communication with a child *
Sentence
Five years and four months in prison, with an extra three years on licence
Leon Richardson, 22, of Mill Road, Cambridge, began communicating with a schoolboy via social media on October 10. The conversations started innocently but quickly became sexual, with Richardson sending explicit images and videos of himself and requesting the boy to do the same. He persuaded the boy to engage in sexual acts with his younger brother, which were recorded and shared with Richardson. This abuse continued until December 29, when the boy's parents discovered the messages after noticing his withdrawn behaviour. Richardson later confessed at a police station.
Pleaded guilty to the charges. Also given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order to run indefinitely and must sign the Sex Offenders Register for life. DC Kev Foxcroft from the Paedophile Online Investigation Team commented on the predatory nature of the offences.
Daniel Dugdale
Stalking *
Sentence
three years and nine months in prison
Daniel Dugdale, 29, engaged in a prolonged stalking campaign against his ex-partner Megan Brailsford following their separation in January 2023. He sent disturbing hoax messages and calls falsely reporting that Megan had murdered her children, leading to armed police responses and deployments of ambulances. He bombarded her with anonymous threats including rape and death threats, silent calls, and messages like 'let me kill you' and 'I will run you off the road'. Dugdale created fake accounts in her name, sent emails to her professional body to have her removed from the veterinary register, and arranged unwanted taxis to her home. He also sent threats referencing her dog and pictures of dead dogs. Evidence from phone records linked him to the incidents, including calls every four seconds. In interview, he admitted trying to hurt her so she would need him.
Pleaded guilty to two counts of stalking involving alarm/distress and perverting the course of justice.
