A 21-year-old woman, who was unknown to him and walking home from a night out, approached to offer help. He then stabbed her in the eye, causing severe injuries that required hospital treatment. Despite surgery, she lost sight in that eye permanently. He was arrested at the scene and charged with the offenses.

On January 21, 2024, he stole alcohol from Marks & Spencer in Huntingdon, and on January 22, 2024, he stole perfume worth more than £1,000 from John Lewis in Cambridge. On February 6, 2024, he stole alcohol from Waitrose in St Ives. Additionally, he breached a five-year Criminal Behaviour Order issued in December 2022, which prohibited him from entering any HBAC shop in Huntingdonshire.

On April 6, 2024, he assaulted her by throwing her to the floor and kicking her while she was asleep, resulting in bruising. He also committed two counts of rape. When the victim attempted to end the relationship, he bombarded her with phone calls, video calls, voice notes, texts, and threats to harm both her and himself.

She told her son he had cancer and gave him multivitamins disguised as medicine, leading to his psychological, developmental, and emotional harm, as well as missed education.
