Kola tried to run away on foot and dropped 28 bags of cocaine during the chase that were later recovered by officers.

After a previous conversation inside the pub, Patrick followed the victim outside while he was having a cigarette and punched him from behind, causing him to fall and smash the glass he was holding. Patrick then punched the victim four more times and stamped on his head, resulting in a broken jaw and life-changing injuries. The victim was taken to Peterborough City Hospital and then transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge for surgery. Patrick was identified via a CCTV appeal by police.

He fled before police arrived and was arrested two days later at a relative's address in Cardea.

He threatened to harm her family if she saw them, insisted on waiting outside during her medical appointments, accused her of cheating, told her to end her life, threatened suicide, and threatened to share intimate videos. In one incident, he took her phone and headphones, screamed in her face, and threatened to damage her car. In the weeks before his arrest in August 2025, he made multiple calls from a withheld number.

Four masked men, armed with hammers, crowbars, and a metal pole, reversed a Ford Fiesta into the front door and stormed inside. Smith used hammers to break display cabinets, stealing gold and silver jewellery worth up to £100,000. As suspects fled, the daughter was struck by the car, sustaining a broken ankle. The car was driven dangerously through Market Square, wrong way on one-way streets, damaging street furniture, and narrowly missing members of the public. The vehicle was abandoned on Alington Road.
