When the victim intervened, the group surrounded him, threatened him with a knife pressed into his back, punched him in the jaw, knocked him to the ground, and kicked him repeatedly. The assault was interrupted by a couple filming, causing the group to disperse. Footage showed Squires picking up the scooter and claiming it as his. Darius Okuska, 33, of Selby Court, Huntingdon, led police on a pursuit on 29 July, speeding past officers on a blue Suzuki motorbike at the Spittals Interchange around 8.30pm. He reached speeds of up to 150mph on the A1(M), ignored red traffic lights, undertook vehicles, and was uninsured and unlicensed. Officers later pursued him in a black BMW after he fled from an industrial unit in Ravensthorpe, Peterborough, where he produced a fraudulent Lithuanian driving licence.

Damien Asplen, who had an injunction against contacting his former partner after their relationship ended in 2024, breached it multiple times by sending messages via text, WhatsApp, and Facebook between January and March 2025, asking for money and help. The victim captured the messages and reported them to the police. Asplen, of no fixed abode, also failed to comply with requirements to update his location on the Sex Offenders Register and committed an offense during the qualifying time of a previous suspended sentence.

Paul O’Reilly, 34, of Oundle Road, Peterborough, was spotted acting suspiciously on Waterslade Road, Yaxley, on the evening of February 6. He pulled out a seven-inch knife and lunged at a police officer, prompting the officers to draw a taser, after which he discarded the knife in a nearby bush. While in custody, he headbutted another officer.
