Mullen then beat the victim to the ground, kicking and stamping on him, including to the head. The victim fought back by punching Mullen. He demanded and received the PIN number, using a stolen card three times the next day. Items were later returned. The victim suffered an abrasion to the head but no serious injuries. The attack left the victim terrified, feeling cut off from family, and disrupted his life, requiring lock changes.
