Entison Dimitri, 35, was spotted on CCTV handing out class A drugs in the doorway of Merkur Slots, Lincoln Road, Millfield, Peterborough, in the early hours of 22 February 2022. He was seen going to and from a nearby Volkswagen Polo. Police detained him for a stop-search, finding a zipped pouch in his trousers containing wraps of cocaine and crack cocaine, plus further wraps in the Polo worth about £5,000. A search of his home in Lincoln Road uncovered more class A drugs, including heroin, taking the total seized value to more than £10,000.
Pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine, crack cocaine and heroin. Judge commented on his naivety in dealing drugs in view of CCTV and that his gambling addiction led to drug dealing after the birth of his child. Must carry out 180 hours of unpaid work, complete a 25-day Rehabilitation Activity Requirement and adhere to a curfew between 9.30pm and 6am for the next four months.

On 30 April, Sokrat Vata was driving a stolen grey Toyota RAV4 in Cambridge when approached by the Cambridgeshire Road Policing Unit in Catherine Street. He mounted the curb and fled at speed, stopping briefly to let out a passenger before continuing to Clara Rackham Street, where he abandoned the vehicle and threw a bundle of cocaine into a bush. He was found hiding in a nearby back garden. Officers found £560 in cash and number plates in the car, and he tested positive for drug driving. In a separate incident on 13 April in Kent, Vata flipped a cloned vehicle while evading police on the A20 at East Malling, from which bags of cocaine and number plates were recovered, though he was not caught at the time.
Pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, two counts of dangerous driving, possession of cannabis and drug driving. Sentenced by His Honour Judge Grey, who commented on the misery caused by drugs and the trail of damage from drug addiction.

Making indecent photographs of a child *

Peter Barber, a 71-year-old convicted paedophile from Norburn, Bretton, Peterborough, was visited at his home by specialist officers managing sexual offenders in January. During the visit, officers discovered his hidden mobile phone under the bed covers containing thousands of indecent images of children, including nearly 4,000 category A images. Evidence also showed he had initiated sexual communication with children he believed to be 11 and 12 years old. He went to great efforts to conceal his continued sexual offending, breaching his sexual harm prevention order and notification requirements.
Admitted to three counts of making an indecent photograph of a child, possessing extreme pornographic images, possessing a prohibited image of a child, arranging the sexual exploitation of a child under 13, two counts of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child, three counts of distributing an indecent photograph of a child, and six counts of breaching a sexual harm prevention order and failing to comply with Sex Offenders Register notification requirements. Described as posing a serious risk to children.
Lemar Griffiths
Supply of class A drugs and child exploitation *

Lemar Griffiths, 28, of Orchard Close, Cambridge, ran a county line drug operation between London and Peterborough, using a vulnerable 15-year-old boy in care as a drug runner to supply class A drugs including crack cocaine and heroin. The investigation began on 31 July 2023 when the Metropolitan Police reported the boy missing from London and believed to be in Peterborough. Griffiths' mobile phone was in regular contact with the boy's. On 8 August 2023, Griffiths was arrested in Newmarket and seen throwing a mobile phone and a package containing more than £2,000 worth of class A drugs from a window. A 'deal line' phone found with him sent bulk messages advertising drugs in Peterborough. He was charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin, arranging or facilitating travel of another person with a view to exploitation, and possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, cocaine, and heroin.
Initially denied all charges but changed plea on day two of trial. Continued to deny the exploitation charge, which will lie on file. Must forfeit £2,850 in cash seized from him.
David Rosa

David Rosa, 21, of London Road, Maidstone, Kent, worked for Lemar Griffiths to facilitate the travel of a vulnerable 15-year-old boy in care from London to Peterborough and force him to supply class A drugs including crack cocaine and heroin as part of a county line operation. The investigation began on 31 July 2023 when the Metropolitan Police reported the boy missing from London and believed to be in Peterborough. Rosa's mobile phone was in regular contact with the boy's. On 7 August 2023, the boy was tracked to Millfield, Peterborough, a known drug user's address, where he had been taken to sell drugs on behalf of Griffiths and Rosa. Rosa was arrested on 8 August 2023 at Cambridge rail station after travelling from Peterborough. He was charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin, and arranging or facilitating travel of another person with a view to exploitation.
Initially denied all charges but changed plea on day two of trial. Must forfeit £105 in cash seized from him.

Nam Hong Tran was found with 238 cannabis plants in his home in Tanglewood, Alconbury Weston, on May 8, with a street value of up to £199,000. The plants were discovered in bedrooms and a loft following complaints of a strong cannabis smell. He was sentenced after pleading guilty.
Pleaded guilty to production of cannabis. Judge noted understanding of how he became involved in criminal conduct, but emphasised the harm caused by growing cannabis as a controlled drug.

Marcin Zielinski, a former Herts police officer aged 27 from Shefford, Bedfordshire, stole an item of underwear from a property in Stevenage on September 12, 2024, while conducting a Section 32 search. The woman at the address had been arrested for an unrelated matter and was later released with no further action. Zielinski resigned from the force in November 2024 amid the investigation.
Pleaded guilty to one charge of theft and a charge of corrupt or improper exercise of police powers and privileges. Hertfordshire Constabulary described his actions as a fundamental betrayal of the public and the values of the police service.

Tinashe Wilson, 27, of Wadloes Road, Cambridge, broke into a house in High Street, Cottenham, by forcing the front door at around 4pm on 19 December 2023. He stole a 45-inch Panasonic TV and a stereo amplifier. A black latex glove left at the scene contained his DNA. The following day, officers searched a house in Dolphin Close, Cambridge, where Wilson was found and attempted to flee. A camouflage hooded top belonging to him was discovered containing sealed bags of class A drugs (amphetamine and cocaine). A mobile phone he discarded was also recovered. In interview, he answered no comment.
Pleaded guilty to burglary and possession of cocaine and amphetamine. Has 12 previous convictions for 31 offences. Was wanted on recall to prison at the time of the offence.
Samuel Thomas

Samuel Thomas, 36, of Crest Drive, Fenstanton, strangled his girlfriend until she lost consciousness on November 3 and during another incident, slapped her to revive her, slammed her head against a wall about four times, threatened to bite her nose off and gouge her eyeball, and refused to let her leave with their 12-week-old baby. The abuse was reported after police were alerted to an assault at his home, where injuries including a handprint on her face and bruising on her neck were observed.
Pleaded guilty to two counts of intentional strangulation and actual bodily harm. DC Ewa Byrne commented on the victim's bravery and described Thomas as a danger to women.
Robert Fitzjohn

Robert Fitzjohn, 44, broke into March Town Hall in Market Place between 5.30pm on Monday April 15 and 8.30am on Tuesday April 16. He smashed a window to access an office, searched through a safe and cupboard, and stole cheque books, bank cards, a bottle of prosecco, and another small safe. He also used parts of a drill to break into another office, stole £17 from the till in the coffee shop, along with a pot of foreign coins and a cake, then left through a fire exit. His DNA was found on the drill bits, leading to his conviction.
Pleaded guilty to burglary which triggered a suspended sentence. PC Rachael Copeland noted that Fitzjohn knew what he was doing and caused about £2,000-worth of damage.
Ditjon Hoxha

On 24 June, police on patrol in Ely spotted Ditjon Hoxha, a 29-year-old from Mount Ephraim Road, London, parked in a lay-by on the A142 near Barway in a black Vauxhall Mokka hire vehicle that had previously failed to stop in the area. Officers searched him and the vehicle but found nothing. They then searched a nearby bin after recalling him putting items inside upon their arrival, discovering 35 bags of cocaine with a street value of £1,400. In custody, it was found he had given a false name and had no driving licence or insurance.
Previously pleaded guilty. Also disqualified from driving for 18 months and must take an extended re-test.

Michael Thornton, 43, of North Street, Peterborough, tried entering a family home in Thorpe Meadows, Peterborough, on 25 March 2024 at about 11.30pm. He was detected by a CCTV system while attempting to break in via the back door after being in the garden and garage, then jumped over the fence. The victims' sons pursued and detained him in a nearby pub carpark after he admitted to jumping the fence, and called the police.
Pleaded guilty to attempted burglary with intent to steal. Was already under a community order after conviction for burglary and theft in February.

Alfie Holt, a 21-year-old from Victory Avenue, Whittlesey, was driving a blue Seat Ibiza on the A14 near Godmanchester on April 21 when neighbourhood officers stopped him due to suspicions. He had been disqualified from driving in March. A search of his car revealed class A drugs, cannabis, scales, and a kitchen knife in the driver's door.
Pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, driving while disqualified, possession of cannabis, and possession of a knife. PC Chris Winchester from the Huntingdon Neighbourhood Team commented on targeting drug dealers who pose a danger to communities.

Craig Allpress, 23, of Blackmead, Orton Malborne, Peterborough, was charged in October 2021 with arson causing £754,871 worth of damage to 48 HGV trailers and their contents at Hotpoint in Celta Road, Fletton, Peterborough, on 29 August 2019, as well as criminal damage to white goods. He denied the charges but was found guilty of criminal damage after a trial and cleared of arson.

Kian Setchfield

Kian Setchfield, then 15 years old, admitted starting a fire at Hotpoint in Celta Road, Fletton, Peterborough, on 29 August 2019, causing £754,871 worth of damage to 48 HGV trailers and their contents, as well as criminal damage to white goods. Emergency services were called at about 7pm, with eight crews and over 40 firefighters attending. No one was injured. He was charged in October 2021 and sentenced now at age 19.

Nigel Reeson

Nigel Reeson, 58, began sexually assaulting the first young girl in 1994, with the abuse taking place at his home on regular occasions until the early 2000s. He sexually touched the girl on multiple occasions, including one instance when he got into a bath with her. In 2010, Reeson sexually assaulted another girl at her home. Last year the girls reported what had happened and Reeson was arrested at his home in Abbots Drive, Crowland, near Peterborough.
Admitted six counts of indecently assaulting a girl under the age of 14, inciting a girl under sixteen years of age to commit an act of gross indecency and assaulting a girl by touching.
Anne-Marie Burrowes

On 26 October 2023, Anne-Marie Burrowes, 52, of Ellindon, Bretton, Peterborough, murdered her friend Paul Knowles, 56, at his flat in Farriers Court, Woodston, Peterborough. They regularly met to drink alcohol, but things turned violent. She assaulted him to the face, dug out his eyes, and shoved a sock down his throat, causing airway obstruction and facial fractures, leading to his death. She left the body for four days, took his bank card and used it at a shop, then called police on 30 October to confess vaguely, and fully on 19 November, unable to live with the guilt.
Found guilty of murder after claiming self-defence. Both parties were alcoholics and had been drinking and taking drugs that night.
Christopher Marshall-Mcintosh
Causing serious injury by careless driving *

Christopher Marshall-McIntosh was driving his silver Audi A4 at excessive speed in Back Lane, Cambourne, on 5 March 2024, when he collided with a 15-year-old boy on a push-scooter, causing serious and life-threatening injuries. He fled the scene and attempted to cover his tracks by setting the car on fire in a remote area. The victim suffered lasting injuries, impacting his childhood and future.
Pleaded guilty to causing serious injury by careless driving and perverting the course of justice. Also disqualified from driving for five years and four months. DS Craig Wheeler commented on the appalling behaviour and the impact on the victim.
Erion Nakdi
Unauthorised possession of a mobile phone in prison *

Erion Nakdi, a 42-year-old Albanian national serving a 16-year sentence at HMP Highpoint for drug offences, possessed an unauthorised mobile phone in his prison cell between July 2 and July 6, 2024. He used it to film and send sexual videos to prison officer Rebecca Pinckard via social media messaging. The phone was discovered during the investigation into Pinckard's misconduct.
Pleaded guilty to unauthorised possession of a mobile phone in prison. Sentence consecutive to existing 16-year term for conspiracy to supply class A drugs. Described as a 'pool phone' and case as a tragic emotional attraction by defence.
Rebecca Pinckard

Rebecca Pinckard, a 46-year-old prison officer at HMP Highpoint in Suffolk, engaged in an intimate sexual encounter with inmate Erion Nakdi in a storage cupboard on July 5, 2024. The act was captured on her body-worn camera, which was accidentally activated. She had previously sent him a Moonpig card on April 10, 2024, and received sexual videos of him filmed in his cell via social media, which she failed to report. The relationship involved overfamiliar behaviour over months, following a prior warning in October 2023 for similar conduct.
Admitted misconduct in public office. Judge noted the offence was not a one-off, lasted for months, and diminished public confidence in the criminal justice system. Described as a 'moment of madness' by defence, following a difficult personal period after ending a 19-year relationship.

Bogdan-mitrut Radulescu, a 33-year-old from Romania living in the Northamptonshire area, was stopped by officers while driving a white Vauxhall Astra in Tayfen Road, Bury St Edmunds, on March 6. He was found with press-seal bags containing cocaine in his pocket. A search of a nearby address linked to him uncovered additional cocaine with an estimated street value of £24,000, along with his ID documents. He was arrested and charged accordingly.
Pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. Pc Harry Tully commented that Radulescu travelled to Bury St Edmunds from another county to deal drugs, and that the evidence was overwhelming.

During a routine inspection at his home in St Neots in April 2021, specialist officers discovered search terms including “children in swimwear” and “how to delete internet history” on his computer. Devices were seized due to incorrect password details. Forensics revealed child abuse images, including 25 category A, the most serious.
Pleaded guilty to three counts of breaching a sexual harm prevention order and three counts of making indecent images of children. Demonstrated a blatant disregard for the order.

Lee Courtney
Making indecent photographs of a child *

Lee Courtney, 33, of North Brink, Wisbech, was found in possession of 140 indecent images of children on a Samsung mobile phone seized from a house in Churchill Road, Gorefield, on 18 March 2024. Officers arrested him for failing to notify police of two email accounts, breaching Sex Offender Register requirements imposed in January 2021 following a prior conviction. The undeclared phone also breached a five-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) from that conviction. This was a reoffence after a previous 26-month suspended sentence for three counts of making indecent images of children.
Pleaded guilty to breaching a SHPO, failing to comply with Sex Offender Register notification requirements and three counts of making indecent photographs of a child. Sex Offenders Register extended by three years until January 2031; SHPO extended by 10 years until January 2036.
Andrzej Kopysc
Stalking and Assault Causing Actual Bodily Harm *

Andrzej Kopysc stalked his ex-partner and threw a knife at her in June of the previous year, causing a cut to her upper arm. On 3 September, he went to her home, hit the front door with a hammer, waved it in her face, and threatened her, leading to his arrest. Despite being released on bail with conditions not to contact her, he returned on 7 November, banging on windows, and later attempted to hang himself outside her property. While in custody, he sent text messages and wrote to the victim asking for help.
Pleaded guilty to assault causing actual bodily harm and stalking. Denied threatening a person with an offensive weapon, which was ordered to lie on file. DC Charmaine Wood described his behaviour as disgusting and noted the potential for more serious injury.
Ian Martin

Ian Martin, 61, of Padnal, Littleport, raped two girls at various locations in the Ely area between February 1976 and April 1981. He threatened the victims, warning they would be put in care if they told anyone, and gave them money to buy sweets afterwards. On one occasion, he asked one victim if she wanted to ride his motorbike, then took her to a secluded spot and raped her. On another occasion, he raped them in bunk beds.
Found guilty of two counts of rape after a re-trial; previously found guilty of one count of rape at initial trial in June 2021; found not guilty of another count of rape; no verdict on two further counts.

Possession with intent to supply Class A drugs *

Irmantas Gespautas was spotted by officers from the Huntingdon Neighbourhood Policing Team engaging with two known drug users in Oxmoor on April 9, 2024, leading to suspicions of a drug deal. He fled from police and was detained in The Whaddons, where he admitted to possessing drugs he intended to sell. Officers found nine wraps of crack cocaine and heroin on him, resulting in his arrest and charge for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

Fynley Jefferies

On August 21, 2023, in St Neots, Fynley Jefferies was spotted by neighbourhood officers on patrol with a manbag and a black plastic bag. He attempted to evade police by running through bushes and jumping into a river, where he tied his manbag to branches. The manbag was retrieved with help from a member of the public and contained £325 in cash as well as cocaine, ecstasy and ketamine with a street value of £2,000.

On 28 June 2021, they approached a man in Mayfield Road, Huntingdon, sold him a bike for £250, then attacked him in an alleyway, pushing him off the bike, causing him to hit his head on a wall, kicking him in the face, and stealing the bike, leaving him with bruising and a bloody nose. An hour later, they were arrested in George Street, Huntingdon, where Dylong became aggressive, swinging bottles at an officer, punching him in the face, and kicking him in the back of the head.

A second girl was approached similarly and assaulted on four occasions starting 12 May 2023, despite disclosing her age. On 30 June 2023, he met a third girl, aged 16, and on 2 July 2023 led her to a secluded alleyway in Cambridge for sexual assault and attempted rape.
Found guilty after a five-day trial on all eight counts. Made subject to indefinite sexual harm prevention and restraining orders.

On 31 May 2023, at 5.46pm, Amadu Djalo was part of a group that included Rudolf Gregor, Patrick Tavera, Samba Balde, and Milan Pollak, who entered a play park in Century Square, Millfield, Peterborough, where two teenage boys were stabbed multiple times with kitchen knives purchased earlier that day. Djalo and Pollak were behind the main group. The 18-year-old victim suffered multiple puncture wounds to his legs, buttocks and back, severe swelling to his jaw and neck, arterial bleeding in his neck, and a stab wound penetrating internal organs requiring emergency surgery. The 17-year-old victim suffered an arterial bleed to his left arm and two puncture wounds to his back, one near his spinal column, requiring emergency surgery. The group was seen on CCTV entering and leaving the park within a minute, after which they called a taxi to flee the area.
Found guilty of two counts of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH). Cleared of attempted murder and possession of a bladed article.

Bailey Winkle, of Willonholt, Ravensthorpe, went on a three-month crime spree across Peterborough and Lincolnshire starting just after his 18th birthday in October 2023. He carried out multiple burglaries, stealing car keys and vehicles, thefts from vehicles including number plates, making off without payment from petrol stations, attempted burglaries, attempted theft of a vehicle, and dangerous driving. Specific incidents include burglaries and thefts on dates from 11 October 2023 to 29 December 2023 in locations such as Westwood, Heckington, Sleaford, North Hykeham, Lincoln, Scunthorpe, Dogsthorpe, Welland, Gunthorpe, Whittlesey, and Bardney. He boasted about thefts in text messages recovered from his phone. Arrested on 6 November 2023 and again on 30 December 2023.
Admitted 40 offences including 17 thefts of vehicles, 13 burglaries, three thefts from vehicles, three attempted burglaries, two counts of making off without payment, one attempted theft of a vehicle and one count of dangerous driving. Denied two charges of attempted fraud, five charges of theft from a motor vehicle, one charge of criminal damage and three charges of possession of cannabis, all of which will lie on file. Continued to commit offences while on court bail.
Elsi Hafizi

On 15 March, neighbourhood officers on patrol in Arbury spotted Elsi Hafizi handing over what they suspected was drugs to a woman. Police caught up with him in Finch Road where he admitted to being in possession of class A drugs. They found 14 wraps of cocaine with a street value of more than £500, a mobile phone, and £170 in cash.
Previously pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine.
Elijah Bussue
Possession with intent to supply cannabis *

22 months in prison, suspended for two years, and 200 hours unpaid work
Elijah Bussue was involved in a police pursuit on the A141 between Chatteris and March, driving a BMW X3 at speeds exceeding 90mph after officers detected a cannabis smell. The pursuit continued through Huntingdon, along the A14, and onto the A1198, where a stinger was deployed, stopping the vehicle on a farm track. Bussue hid in nearby bushes but was tracked down by police dog Clifford. Police discovered the vehicle's boot filled with cannabis plants valued at £150,000 on the street. The incident began at 2.40am on January 19.
Pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cannabis.
Ashley Baker

Ashley Baker, 41, of Wood Street, Doddington, subjected his partner to seven years of controlling and abusive behaviour. This included forcing her to call him during her lunch break, forbidding her from going to the canteen, quizzing her about interactions with others, smashing a coffee table in rage and pinning her against a wall by her throat, making her wear vest tops to hide her chest, closing blinds for workouts, and trying to alienate her from family and friends. He regularly shouted, became physically violent, and controlled all aspects of her everyday life. The victim's son recorded the abuse to show police.
Pleaded guilty to engaging in controlling behaviour. PC Rachael Copeland praised the victim for her courage and noted that Baker robbed her of her friends, family, and enjoyment of everyday life.

Christopher Downes, a 31-year-old sex offender from Oak Crescent, Dry Drayton, near Cambridge, superimposed the head of a child he knew onto an indecent image using photo editing software. He was flagged to police by the National Crime Agency. Arrested at his home on 12 March, a phone and tablet were seized containing 41 indecent images of children (including 12 category A, the most severe) and seven indecent videos (three category A). He answered 'no comment' in police interview.
Pleaded guilty to three charges of making indecent images of children. Previously on the Sex Offenders Register since January.
Klaidas Weekes
Supply of heroin and crack cocaine and assault causing actual bodily harm *

Klaidas Weekes, 21, of Winns Avenue, Walthamstow, Greater London, was operating a county line drugs operation between London and Peterborough. He was arrested on November 14, 2023, after police raided his flat in Mountbatten Way, Westwood, Peterborough, where £400 worth of heroin and crack cocaine, drugs paraphernalia, cash and six mobile phones were found. Additionally, on August 5, 2023, at Red Room nightclub in Broadway, Peterborough, Weekes made an unwanted advance towards a woman, leading to a physical altercation where he slapped and punched three women in the face, knocking one unconscious.
Previously admitted being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine, possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine, acquiring criminal property – namely £290 in cash, two counts of assault causing actual bodily harm (ABH) and assault.
Daniel Holyoak
Grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice *

Daniel Holyoak, 39, of Wisbech, subjected his partner to a brutal six-hour attack on 12 July 2021 after returning home from a 10-day cocaine and alcohol binge. He punched the victim numerous times, stamped all over her body, dragged her around by her hair, and repeatedly slammed a door into her, leaving her covered in bruises, with a missing front tooth, a swollen eye, and shoe imprints all over her body. The victim sought help at an ambulance station, leading to Holyoak's arrest the following day at their home in Ramnoth Road, Wisbech. While on remand, Holyoak contacted the victim several times to persuade her to drop the charges.
Pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice. Has a previous conviction for assault from eight years ago at Lincoln Crown Court.
Arnoldas Stasys
Production of cannabis *

On January 31, 2024, the March Neighbourhood Policing Team executed a warrant at a property in Wimblington Road, Doddington, where they discovered 67 cannabis plants worth up to £56,280. Arnoldas Stasys, 33, had taught himself how to grow cannabis by following online tutorials and sourcing equipment online. He was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis, abstracting electricity, and handling stolen goods, and later admitted to the charges in court.
Pleaded guilty to production of cannabis. Detective Constable Bethany Reynolds commented that he knew he was committing an offence but chose to continue anyway.
