He was arrested under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, and a search revealed three bags of cannabis and wraps of Class A drugs, valued between £1,500 and £2,100. Darcy, aged 26 and from Carr View Avenue in Balby, was identified, and the drugs were subsequently destroyed by the police.
Pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis as well as driving without a licence and insurance. Detective Constable Ellen Hoszowski commented that Darcy was carrying a significant quantity of drugs prepared for onward supply, which could fuel organised crime.

Thompson was in possession of four kitchen knives during the incident.
