Royster was found by officers at a property in Chesterfield that was subject to a closure order intended to protect the occupant and reduce anti-social behaviour including drug use. The order allowed only one named legal occupier to enter between February 26 and May 26, 2026. When officers visited on April 18, the tenant initially said no one else was present, but a search found Royster hiding under a large pile of clothes. She initially said her name was Katie but was recognised by an officer. She was charged with entering premises in contravention of a closure order and later found guilty.

Jacek Bogusz was involved in a two-vehicle collision near Junction 29 of the M1 on Saturday, April 18. No injuries were reported and no evidence suggested he was responsible for the collision, but checks revealed he was driving while disqualified and without valid insurance. The 47-year-old pleaded guilty to both charges. The court heard he had a dreadful record of driving offences, including driving while disqualified and failing to provide a specimen, and that he served a prison sentence in 2024 for driving offences.

During an argument in a car park in Killamarsh on Sunday, September 6, 2026, Martin Lee accused the victim of scratching his car and threw a Capri Sun drink at the windscreen of the victim's car, breaking the glass. The victim paid over £140 for repairs.

Nathaniel Devine was spotted driving at speed in Chesterfield on 1 May 2026. He stopped but refused to speak with officers and then attempted to run away. A police dog chased him and quickly ended his attempt to flee. He later pleaded guilty to failure to co-operate with a preliminary test, failure to provide a specimen for analysis and possession of a Class C controlled drug.

Connor Higgs was driving his Audi along the A57 Snake Pass at around 10pm on December 27 when he lost control. The car hit a wall and flipped three to four times before coming to a stop, nearly missing another vehicle. He later provided a urine sample showing 152 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of urine, above the legal limit. Snake Pass was closed for over six hours following the collision. No serious injuries were reported.

Chloe Ashin admitted breaching a community order after failing to attend appointments. The breach followed convictions for criminal damage to a private vehicle, homophobically aggravated threatening or abusive behaviour towards a police officer, assaulting a police officer, and criminal damage to a mobile phone. She was sentenced to 12 weeks imprisonment suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay £60 costs.

Andrew Jennison drove without due care and attention on the M1 at Tibshelf. He was fined £300, ordered to pay £300 costs and a £120 victim services surcharge, and had four penalty points added to his driving record.
