The evidence showed he strangled her, though he claimed she died from a drug overdose after taking excessive cocaine. He hid her body under a mattress, then placed it in a suitcase, drove around to find a disposal site, set part of the body on fire using petrol, and buried it in a shallow grave in Binley Woods, five miles from his home. Police were called to his flat following a 999 call from a neighbour who heard Ms Coulson shouting for help. Durnion feigned a mental health crisis and falsely claimed his father had cancer when officers arrived. He was arrested on 24 June 2025 and later led police to the grave after seeing a media appeal by the victim's family. Ms Coulson's body was discovered on 27 June 2025, 10 days after her family raised the alarm on her birthday, 17 June 2025.
Convicted of manslaughter by a majority 11-1 verdict. Judge Kristina Montgomery KC noted he showed total contempt for the victim in life and in death. He claimed the victim died from a drug overdose and he panicked before burying her body.

The harassment lasted for months and involved coercive and controlling behaviour causing serious distress. He refused to seek help or stop until the victim confronted him at his home. The victim reported the abuse to police in March 2024, leading to his arrest.

The baby was alive after birth but died by the time police discovered her body two days later on 6 March 2024. Teo lied to friends, doctors, and police about the baby's location until forced to reveal it.

He groomed the victim before sexually abusing her. The victim reported the offending in 2022 after watching a television programme about grooming, leading to an investigation by Warwickshire Police.
Pleaded guilty to five counts of indecent assault. Was a former Warwickshire Police officer. Investigating officers noted the victim's bravery and that time is no barrier to justice.

Syed Reza, a 25-year-old from Sundon Park Road, Luton, engaged in a high-speed police pursuit covering over 80 miles from Luton to Birmingham on September 18, 2020, reaching speeds up to 150mph. The pursuit spanned seven police force areas, involved ramming two police cars, and traversed rural and urban areas. He refused to stop, was eventually arrested in Birmingham, released under investigation, fled the country, and was apprehended upon return at Heathrow Airport a year later. Additional pursuits occurred in Luton in April 2020 and July 2020, and in Warwickshire in January 2020.

William Brady, 57, stabbed his ex-partner Pauline Sweeney at her address in Long Close Avenue, Coventry, in March 2024. A neighbour saw him outside crying and alerted the police, who attended the scene and attempted to save Pauline's life, but she died from her injuries. Brady was arrested and confessed by stating, 'I've killed her.'
Pled guilty to murder on September 19, 2024. No clear motive was established, and the court heard that the incident occurred while they were inside the house.
