Jayden Johnson, 18, of no fixed abode, committed a series of offences over five days in May 2025. On 11 May, he threatened a man he had arranged to buy a car from before driving off in the vehicle. Less than 24 hours later, he stole a mobile phone after assaulting a member of the public. Three days after that, he was seen running up Chapel Lane in Thurnscoe brandishing a machete before smashing a door window as he tried to injure a person inside whom he had previously threatened to kill.
Pleaded guilty to a string of charges, including aggravated burglary, making threats to kill, possession of a bladed article in a public place, assault, theft and robbery. All offences took place during a five-day period in May 2025.

Darren Ward, 55, of Norville Crescent, Barnsley, attacked police officers during violent disorder outside the Holiday Inn Express in Manvers, Rotherham, on 4 August 2024. He was filmed aggressively pushing officers and displaying threatening behaviour as part of large-scale scenes of deplorable violence which saw 60 officers injured. The hotel was being used to house asylum seekers. Three months after the disorder, he handed himself in at Barnsley police station after being pictured in a police appeal showing perpetrators of the violence.

Officers from the police's Neighbourhood Acquisitive Crime Team (NACT) launched an investigation and Simpson was arrested in connection with the incident. The 23-year-old, of North Side, New Tupton, Chesterfield, was charged with burglary.
Pleaded guilty to burglary. Detective Sergeant Jesse Conquest noted it was an opportunist burglary and a warning to other burglars.

A manhunt led to his arrest in York three days later, where he was found in possession of a knife.

Text messages showed plans to sell cannabis in Leeds for £40,000. Nearby residents were evacuated, and army experts were called in.

Earlier that day, he had threatened the homeowner at the same address, saying he would 'shoot the lot of you'. CCTV footage captured him making the threats and firing the weapon before casually walking away. No one was injured. He was arrested two hours after the shooting.
Pleaded guilty to all charges. Detective Inspector Claire Moss described him as a dangerous man who discharged a firearm at a property without thought for others' safety.

Following reports, police conducted house-to-house enquiries, issued e-fit appeals, installed covert CCTV, and increased patrols. In August 2025, after another incident, officers arrested him using a partial vehicle registration provided by the victim. Previous victims identified him, leading to charges.
Pleaded guilty to six counts of indecent exposure between November 2024 and July 2025, one count of outraging public decency and one count of using threatening abusive insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment alarm and distress. He shared 350 messages, video-called 10 times, and received nine media files containing category C indecent images. Using the username 'Rich2076', he requested live webcam sessions and indecent images of the woman's nine-year-old daughter, sending money via mobile phone top-ups. A separate conversation from October 2020 to November 2023 involved sexualised discussions with 'Nancy' about her 15-year-old daughter. Devices seized in February 2024 contained 28 indecent images (7 category A, 7 B, 8 C, 13 extreme) and searches for explicit videos including 'teen' and 'schoolgirls'.
Pleaded guilty to various child sex offences. Concurrent sentences of 6 months for category A images, 2 months for category B, and 1 month for category C. Named on Sex Offenders Register and issued Sexual Harm Prevention Order, both indefinitely.

Jason Hale, 37, of no fixed abode, lurked in the shadows of an alleyway between Apley Road and Whitburn Road in the Hyde Park area of Doncaster, attempting to rob random victims. On September 19, 2024, he stabbed Sheldon Jameson in the chest during an attempted robbery, leading to Sheldon's death. Two nights earlier, Hale had stabbed another man in the abdomen in the same alleyway, who survived. Hale was identified via CCTV footage showing him loitering in the alleyway on both occasions. He was found guilty on August 19, 2025.

On February 25, 2025, he spoke with a woman he believed would enable him to sexually assault her child, but the account was operated by the Regional Organised Crime Unit as a decoy to catch online predators. He was arrested the following day by the Internet Sex Offences Team (ISOT), with three mobile phones, two tablets, a laptop, and a computer seized. Analysis of one phone revealed conversations with other profiles discussing sexual abuse of children.
Pleaded guilty to two counts of attempting to arrange or facilitate the commission of a child sex offence. Also handed a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.

Hussain was arrested after the victim reported the abuse to officers investigating her childhood sexual exploitation.

Travelling at approximately 53mph in a 20mph zone on Myers Grove Lane, he lost control on a bend and struck a metal barrier, overturning the car. This caused the death of Josh Atkins and serious injuries to Gabe Wiggett. Earlier that evening, Cooper had driven at excessive speeds, including around 80mph past Bradfield School, and performed wheel spins in a car park. The dashboard warning lights were on for 90 minutes prior due to a malfunctioning ABS system. The crash occurred on Josh's father Gavin's birthday. Cooper was covered in blood and said, 'What have I done, I've killed my best friend.'

On February 3, 2025, at All Saints Catholic High School in Sheffield, Mohammed Umar Khan, a 15-year-old pupil, stabbed fellow pupil Harvey Willgoose, also 15, twice in the heart with a hunting knife featuring a 13cm serrated blade during lunchtime in the central school courtyard. The incident followed prior exchanges and tensions, including threatening messages and physical interactions earlier that day. CCTV captured Khan taking the knife from his pocket and stabbing Harvey forcefully after Harvey placed a hand on his arm. Khan had brought the knife to school, lied about it to staff, and had a demonstrated interest in knives via internet searches and prior possession on school premises. A teacher attempted to disarm him afterwards. Harvey collapsed 49 seconds later and died from his injuries. Khan was convicted of murder on August 8, 2025.
