Sentence: 10-year ban from keeping animals, £354 fine, £142 victim surcharge, and £1,910 costs
Luigi Di Caprio, a 68-year-old livestock farmer from Harlton Close, Peterborough, kept animals on land at Farcet in Cambridgeshire. Following investigations, officers found the animals in a hazardous environment, with sheep emaciated, piglets not suitably protected from the sow, and essential disease control measures not followed. Animals were also not tagged with identification numbers, making them untraceable in case of a disease outbreak.
