Pleaded guilty to five counts of assault, three counts of criminal damage, and two counts of fraud. DC Lauren Easton noted that Gill was a violent man who assaulted the victim in her own home in front of her children and emotionally manipulated her.

Rohan Seta was arrested on April 25, 2023, in the Eastgate area of Peterborough after being spotted by police conducting a suspected drug deal while wearing a balaclava. A member of the public pointed him out, leading to a stop-search that uncovered something concealed in his underwear. A subsequent strip-search revealed 40 wraps of cocaine and heroin. He appeared in court and was sentenced for his involvement in drug dealing.

Pled guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine and heroin. Detective Constable Kara Halls noted it was a good spot by the local neighbourhood team.

Child Abduction

Sentence: 28 weeks in prison

Tai Mitchell, a 22-year-old from Lincoln Road, Walton, Peterborough, was issued a Child Abduction Warning Notice on January 30, 2024, barring him from contact with a vulnerable missing teenager. Despite this, the teenager was reported missing on three consecutive nights in February 2024, and on February 27, 2024, she was found inside a tent with him at Peterborough Embankment. Mitchell failed to notify police of his address change from Eastfield Road to Lincoln Road on February 23, 2024.

Pleaded guilty to knowingly and without lawful authority keeping a child away from the responsible person and failing to notify police of a change of address. He was previously on the Sex Offenders Register for ten years following a 2021 conviction for sexual offences against children. PC Alex Neill commented on the use of Child Abduction Warning Notices to protect vulnerable children.

Causing Grievous Bodily Harm Without Intent

Tom Adams, a 51-year-old lorry driver from Creech St Michael, Taunton, Somerset, attacked a man in Maxwell Road, Peterborough, in April 2023. He became aggressive after noticing the man filming lorries, including his own, which he believed created a dangerous situation. Adams retrieved a ratchet from his lorry cab, approached the victim despite attempts to push him away, and struck the victim twice on the back of the head, causing deep lacerations and serious head injuries. The victim called the police, leading to Adams' immediate arrest, and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm without intent. Detective Constable Thomas Adams commented on the aggression and violence, noting that such acts would not be tolerated.

Kelvin Ramasta

Kelvin Ramasta, a nurse at Addenbrooke's Hospital, stole over £100,000 from vulnerable patients with dementia and Alzheimer's. He targeted a 76-year-old man admitted in October 2021 by setting up a bank account in his name and transferring funds between November 2021 and February 2022. He also stole from a 74-year-old woman with Alzheimer's, forging her cheques and using her bank card for purchases after she was admitted on March 20, 2022. Additionally, he stole from an 85-year-old woman admitted on February 22, 2022, using her bank card 11 times between April 18 and 26, 2022, to spend £203.29. The victims were all under his care and lacked mental capacity.

Pleaded guilty to three counts of theft. Abused position of trust as a nurse targeting vulnerable patients.

Criminal Damage

Vincent Taaffe visited a house in Yaxley on February 12, knocked on the door, had a brief conversation, then returned and began punching, kicking, and slashing the front door with a knife. He also slashed the victim's van parked outside. Taaffe cut his hand on the knife, discarded it in a nearby bush, and fled the scene before being arrested and taken to Thorpe Wood Police Station.

Pleaded guilty to two counts of criminal damage and one count of possessing a knife in a public place. PC Daniel Barnett commented on the dangers and risks of carrying a knife.

Archie Crompton

Burglary

Archie Crompton, 19, formerly of Ingram Street, Huntingdon, broke into a property in Barkhams Lane, Littleport, on October 9, smashing the glass on patio doors and scattering items before stealing a front door key. Later that day, at about 11.25am, he broke into another property in Orchard Row, Soham, with two other men, smashing a window, scattering items, and stealing jewellery and £1,000 in cash. Additionally, a week earlier, he failed to pay for fuel at a petrol station in Bar Hill, and on October 18, he stole a dent puller worth £41.99 from Machine Mart in Bolton. He was captured on CCTV for all offences.

Pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary, making off without payment, driving whilst disqualified, driving without insurance, and theft. DC Lisa Bacon commented on the significant distress caused to the victims due to the psychological and financial impact.
