Darius Okuska, 33, of Selby Court, Huntingdon, led police on a pursuit on 29 July, speeding past officers on a blue Suzuki motorbike at the Spittals Interchange around 8.30pm. He reached speeds of up to 150mph on the A1(M), ignored red traffic lights, undertook vehicles, and was uninsured and unlicensed. Officers later pursued him in a black BMW after he fled from an industrial unit in Ravensthorpe, Peterborough, where he produced a fraudulent Lithuanian driving licence.
Pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, failing to stop, possessing a false identity document, two counts of driving with no third party insurance, and two counts of driving otherwise in accordance with a licence. PC Ruffell commented on his disregard for safety and lack of regard for road rules.
