He drove on the wrong side of the road around a blind bend, turned onto a lane and farm track, entered a ploughed field, reversed towards police, and got stuck in two ditches. Found drunk at the wheel, almost three times the drink-drive limit, with a distraught female passenger. Made racist remarks to officers during arrest and custody, including 'I don’t make bombs – why am I in cuffs?', and struggled violently against handcuffs.
