Kevin Brett, 65, of Beyton Road in Thurston, Suffolk, was sentenced to 12 years in prison at Ipswich Crown Court after being convicted of multiple child sex offences. In March, Brett was found guilty following a trial of three counts of inciting a girl under 13 in sexual activity, one count of assault of a girl under 13 by touching, three counts of engaging in non-penetrative sexual activity with a child, and one count of voyeurism. He appeared again at Ipswich Crown Court for sentencing, where he received a total of 12 years' imprisonment. Brett was also made subject to a restraining order and a sexual harm prevention order. The offences involved a child and included both sexual activity and voyeurism.

Kevin Prewitt, 37, of Myrtle Road, Lowestoft, Suffolk, and his partner Rachel Burrows subjected two children under 10 to an abhorrent campaign of abuse over more than a year, including rape and production of indecent images and videos. Police discovered a 10-second indecent film and messages on his phone in April 2020, leading to seizures from both homes. Skype conversations from January 2020 showed their plans. Victims likely to develop complex PTSD.

Admitted serious charges of sexual abuse of a child including rape, three offences of making indecent images of children, and two offences of inciting or causing child exploitation. Defence noted engaging with services in custody. Judge Rupert Overbury described acts as beyond depraved, despicable, inhuman and sadistic.
