The site was a sophisticated operation with staff shifts and meetings, and Bake rose through the ranks after the previous head moderator's arrest in May 2022.

Prosecutors claimed she told the old man, who believed she had breast cancer, that she had not been paid by Cartier and was facing eviction from her flat. The businessman denied an affair, claiming that he had lent Rowe the money expecting to be paid back. However, she claimed the pensioner knew she was an escort and had offered her money to pay for a botched operation.
Ordered to complete 20 days of rehabilitation activities after promising she would go straight. Admitted possessing faked Cartier payslips. Cleared of defrauding the OAP.

On 19 November 2020, anticipating a seizure, she activated a covert camera in an alarm clock. The footage captured Poole committing sexual assaults over 23 minutes while she was unconscious from the seizures. She reported it to management, leading to police involvement and Poole's arrest.

Mark Hudson, a 30-year-old man from Derrington Avenue, Crewe, committed a string of offences across Staffordshire and Cheshire. During one incident on 3 September 2020, he entered his victim’s room at a hotel on King Street, Longton, stealing his phone and wallet. He was detained immediately by officers and later released under investigation. A few days later, he targeted a number of vehicles on separate occasions in Stoke-on-Trent, stealing cash and bank cards before being arrested for a second time.
Pleaded guilty to 23 charges, including two counts of burglary and six counts of theft from a motor vehicle.

Kelly Munn was caught transporting class A drugs from Liverpool into Northwich. On Monday 5 July officers from Northwich Local Policing Unit stopped a white Kia Rio on the A556 near Northwich. Munn, who was driving the vehicle, was initially arrested on suspicion of a driving offence. Officers discovered she was concealing a large quantity of illegal drugs: 186 wraps of heroin and 311 wraps of crack cocaine, with a total value of almost £5,000. She had been staying at a hotel in Northwich while transporting the drugs.
Pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (heroin and crack cocaine).

They left and returned at 9.55pm with faces concealed and armed with a shotgun, which was fired at the 50-year-old man but missed and hit the house wall.

Craig Yates, a 28-year-old from Washford Close, Congleton, took advantage of his position of trust as the victim's swimming instructor and manipulated his young victim aged 13-17. The offences occurred between 2017 and 2019 and consisted of two counts of causing or inciting the sexual exploitation of a child and one count of possession of an indecent photograph/pseudo photograph of a child.
Pleaded guilty to the offences. Ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register for 10 years, handed a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and a 20-year restraining order.
Albert Pentall

89-year-old Albert Pentall was making the short journey home after an evening out with friends when his car collided with another vehicle as he made his way across a major junction. He was not concentrating and failed to notice the lights had turned red. The collision was substantial, with Mr Pentall’s vehicle travelling in the region of 40-45 mph. The victim’s car – travelling through the junction on green lights – was struck to the near side, causing her head injuries which proved fatal. Expert evidence established that Mr Pentall’s lights had changed to red (and been in full view) for approximately 9 seconds (and 150 metres) before he arrived at the junction.
Guilty plea. Case fell into the lowest end of the lowest range of the death by dangerous driving sentencing guidelines. Advanced age permitted suspension of sentence.
