Lucy Newall was stopped by police on 3 January while sitting in the driver's seat of a running vehicle in Liverpool. On 11 March she was arrested again after crashing a Cupra SUV into pedestrian railings in Kirkby; a blood test again showed 160 micrograms of ketamine per litre of blood, with cocaine present below the legal limit. White powder was found in the vehicle on both occasions. She pleaded guilty to being in charge of a vehicle while under the influence of drugs.

Posing as an MI5 agent, McLelland gained the victim's trust via a dating app and Snapchat, falsely claiming involvement in an undercover operation investigating a bomb scare linked to Ryanair flights. He followed the victim home from work, waited at the airport, booked onto flights the victim was working, took pictures of him, and knew his exact whereabouts, including during holidays. This harassment caused the victim to fear for his safety, call in sick, lose his job, and relocate. McLelland was arrested in July 2023 after attempting to flee airport authorities but failed to appear for sentencing in November 2024, remaining on the run until late March 2026 when he was remanded in custody.

Pleaded guilty to a single count of stalking without fear, alarm or distress. Served 3 weeks on remand. Five-year restraining order imposed. Battled feelings of isolation after coming out as gay.

He reached through the gap between the seat and the window to touch the teenager before sexually assaulting her. Distressed, the woman and her partner moved to another carriage. When they left the train at Wallasey Bridge railway station, Wragg followed them and began shouting. The incident was reported to British Transport Police, who identified and arrested him at his home.

Found guilty after trial despite entering a not guilty plea. Placed on the sex offenders register for 10 years.
