Earlier in the day, something had happened between Evans and Roberts. CCTV footage showed Evans walking to a bin, smashing a bottle against it, and then striking Roberts in the neck with the neck of the broken bottle in a determined assault intent on inflicting a significant wound. Roberts suffered a one to two inch wound which was cleaned and closed with steri strips at hospital; he declined further treatment. He now fears consequences, feels paranoid, scared, and depressed. Police were called and Evans arrested.
