In the early hours of April 11, 2023, Fuad Haddad, a 31-year-old Deliveroo driver from Adamsdown, Cardiff, unlawfully entered a woman's home after she had cancelled a food order. Finding the front door open, he went upstairs to the bedroom where the woman was asleep, climbed into her bed, and attempted to kiss her twice while touching her hip and pressing his body against hers. The victim's boyfriend was unconscious in the kitchen from intoxication. She woke, demanded Haddad leave, and forcibly removed him after he refused. The assault was captured on CCTV, and Haddad was arrested on April 13, 2023.

Daryl Bees, 33, of Kenry Street, Tonypandy, was stopped by police in Tonypandy on February 22 and found carrying 180g of cocaine with a street value exceeding £20,000. Examination of his seized mobile phone revealed messages showing he had been actively involved in supplying cocaine from November 29, 2025.
Pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply a class A drug and being concerned in the supply of class A drugs. In mitigation, suffered from addiction to class A drugs. Recorder Greg Bull KC noted the offences as extremely serious, with the supply offence more serious, and that Bees played a significant role supplying drugs in the Rhondda Valley.

Daniel Bateman sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl on two counts dating back to April 2019 at Coed Pwll, Caerphilly, Wales. Bateman claimed he had been 'smashed' and had no recollection, but this was disputed by the judge. The assault had a considerable impact on the victim, who was prescribed medication and considered taking her own life.
Pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault. Subject to a 10-year sexual harm prevention order and a 10-year restraining order. Judge noted Bateman continued to play down the offence and there was no reasonable prospect for rehabilitation.

Corey Baldwin, of Twyn Gardens, Cefn Fforest, Blackwood, ran a cocaine supply operation in Blackwood between May 15, 2025 and August 10, 2025. Caught red-handed supplying customers outside the Moggridge Arms on High Street in Blackwood town centre at around 11.10pm on August 9, 2025. One buyer seen snorting cocaine nearby. Found with cocaine (street value £380-£640), £195 cash, small quantities of ecstasy and ketamine. Mobile phone analysis showed he coordinated drops to users and used others to sell on his behalf, with messages like 'I’ve sold those for you.'
Admitted being concerned in the supply of cocaine, possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession of ecstasy and possession of ketamine. Clean record, young age, employment, mental health and addiction issues considered in mitigation. Recorder Greg Bull KC noted persistent law breaking and misery caused by class A drugs to communities. Ordered to pay statutory victim surcharge. Will serve around 40 per cent in custody before release on licence.
Corey Morgan

On July 12, 2025, Corey Morgan deliberately rammed a car four times while a pregnant woman and her baby son were inside. The victim had taken her young son out in her car to help him sleep when she met a friend who had been arguing with Morgan, her then-partner. They drove to Morgan's address to collect belongings, where a confrontation led to Morgan threatening to ram them. Morgan, who had consumed cocaine, cannabis, and alcohol, pursued the women in his Vauxhall Corsa through Ebbw Vale, writing off a stationary Vauxhall Astra. The victims briefly escaped but Morgan located them and rammed their Kia Rio three times. He then pulled alongside and struck them a fourth time before losing control and crashing into a tree at Cwm Draw Industrial Estate, overturning his car. The crash left Morgan with a fractured skull, broken neck, and brain bleed. He lied to police about driving. Morgan pleaded guilty to dangerous driving.
Pleaded guilty to dangerous driving. Also disqualified from driving and must pass an extended test before regaining licence. Recorder Greg Bull KC said: 'You have nobody to blame but yourself. You were lucky you weren’t killed and lucky that other people weren’t killed. This was deliberate driving of a disgraceful nature.' Morgan had taken cocaine, smoked cannabis, and been drinking before the pursuit. He had no previous convictions.

Connor Sainsbury, 21, from Caerphilly, was arrested on 13 June as part of Operation Bergen, an initiative targeting organised crime groups in the Rhymney area. He was involved in the supply of controlled class B drugs cannabis and ketamine to dealers lower down the chain, benefitting from the sale of drugs and making substantial money. The operation involved arrests in Gwent and Manchester.
Pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cannabis and ketamine, and possession of an offensive weapon. Played a leading role in the distribution and sale of ketamine and cannabis as part of a nationwide network of drug dealers leading back to Liverpool.

In 2021, South Wales Police investigated the disappearance of a 15-year-old girl from Germany, who was traced to an address in Treforest where 43-year-old Amit Sethi lived. Sethi had initiated an online relationship with the vulnerable minor, exploiting her weaknesses to convince her they shared a genuine romantic connection. He arranged and funded her travel to the UK. Upon arrival, the girl was located at his residence, leading to his arrest. He was charged with human trafficking, sexual communication with a child, and causing a child to engage in sexual activity. Initially denying the allegations, Sethi later pleaded guilty to the sexual communication offence. The victim was safeguarded and repatriated to Germany. At sentencing, the judge described him as an 'unrepentant sex offender' who 'showed no genuine remorse or insight' into his actions.

Gwent Police recovered a damaged iPhone, a burner phone, another mobile, a counterfeit £20 note, and a crossbow with arrows during their investigation. He had previously been convicted of drug supply in 2017 and 2022, receiving prison sentences each time. He was also charged with assaulting a police officer but that count remained on file.

The incident occurred in the early hours after he had been released from prison earlier in January and following an encounter at Merthyr's Celtic bar. He was arrested on January 18.

Aleksander Lala, 30, of Oxford, was part of an organised crime group involved in a large-scale drug supply network stretching across south Wales and the south-west of England. The operation involved cocaine, crack cocaine, MDMA, methamphetamine, and ketamine with a street value of more than £3.5m. He served as a courier, transporting drugs to the group's extensive customer base.
All five pleaded guilty at their sentencing hearing on Monday. Aleksander Lala admitted conspiracy to supply cocaine and crack cocaine.

Adam Paull, 27, of Tyn y Wen, Tonyrefail, arrived at Ashleigh Devine’s home in Cardiff on October 9, 2025, forced his way inside pushing past her friend Nigel Grant, aggressively threatened Grant, went to bedroom demanding £250 she owed him, struck Ms Devine and pushed her to the neck causing her to fall on bed and bite her tongue which bled, threatened to kill her and her dog unless money paid, she transferred funds via banking app and showed transaction before he left.
Pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm and assault by beating. Has 14 previous convictions including two offences of battery. Mental health had deteriorated. Restraining order lasting five years imposed by Judge Paul Hobson.

They stole and drove away the Mercedes, which was later dumped nearby. The burglary occurred around 3.45am; victims discovered the intrusion upon returning home, finding the front door open and items thrown into the garden. Police tracked AirPods to Coity Road, leading to McCann's identification via CCTV and arrest.

Cameron Davidson sent sexually explicit messages and pictures of his genitals to a decoy he believed to be a 12-year-old girl on Badoo and WhatsApp. He arranged to meet at Barry railway station on August 21 but cancelled. Paedophile hunters confronted him at his workplace in Barry where he was arrested. His phone contained indecent images of children (two category A, four category B, seven category C) and nine extreme pornographic images.
Pleaded guilty to attempting to communicate with a child, attempting to engage a child in sexual activity, and possession of indecent and extreme images. Sentencing by Recorder Greg Bull QC who noted sexual offences are always serious. Subject to sexual harm prevention order and must register as a sex offender for 10 years.
Callum Williams

On May 29, 2025, police found Callum Williams, 30, asleep on a sofa in an unsecured house on Parker Road in Ely, Cardiff. Nearby was a shoe box containing £2,685 cash, a Nokia phone, white powder and resealable bags. The powder tested as cocaine worth £1,140-£1,500. Upstairs, digital scales and more cocaine were found, totalling about 550g. The phone had messages relating to drug sales and Williams' family contacts. He claimed some cocaine was for personal use.
Pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine. Has 12 previous convictions for 19 offences. Cocaine addict at the time. Will serve up to half in custody before release. POCA hearing pending.

Christopher George, 27, killed Carl Chinnock, 50, with a single punch to the head in an unprovoked attack at Salt Lake car park, Porthcawl on June 23, 2021. He had drunk eight pints and taken cocaine and was 'spoiling for a fight'. He hit Chinnock, knocked him unconscious, then fled, telling a taxi driver he 'gave some bloke a slap'. Chinnock fell into a coma and died two days later.

Martin Conway, 36, and Christopher Llewellyn, 34, broke into a Canton property in the early hours of the morning while the 78-year-old victim slept. Llewellyn entered the victim’s bedroom and took the victim’s debit card before video footage showed him running to the end of the street and giving it to Conway. Conway then used the card at a nearby cashpoint and took £500 from the victim’s account. Both suspects changed clothes and shoes in an attempt to avoid detection. The pair can then be seen using the money for alcohol in a nearby garage before leaving in a taxi.
Charged with burglary and fraud by false representation. Given a 10-year restraining order against the victim.
Christopher Norris

Christopher Norris, a 73-year-old man formerly of Cwmbran and now of Caestory Crescent, Raglan, Monmouthshire, breached an indefinite sexual harm prevention order imposed in 2019 by using a private browser on Safari on his iPhone on 13 separate occasions between March 20, 2025 and October 7, 2025. Using a private browser was expressly prohibited. The breaches were discovered during an arranged meeting in Pontypool with a police detective sergeant and a probation officer, after which Norris became irate and claimed ignorance of how to use the private browser.
Pleaded guilty to breaching sexual harm prevention order. Lengthy history of sexual offences including indecent assault of a girl under 14, gross indecency, and possessing, making and distributing indecent images of children. Prior suspended sentence for similar breach. Judge Recorder Greg Bull KC noted appalling record, disagreement with low risk assessment, and no prospect of rehabilitation.

Claire Semmens, a babysitter from Roath, Cardiff, gave a three-year-old boy to known paedophile Aaron Hughes, who drugged and raped the boy twice in her bedroom while she was babysitting. She knew Hughes was a child sex offender banned from contact with children and supplied the boy to satisfy his perversions in hopes of a relationship with Hughes's lover. Police found indecent images on her laptop, including bare bottoms of other boys she babysat. She fled but was arrested.

The occupants of a home in Lake Avenue were out between 8.20am and 5pm and left the property locked and secured. When they returned they found someone had forced entry to the address, carried out a search and made off with valuable watches and jewellery. Forensic examinations of the scene secured evidence that linked Greening to the offence. He also admitted further burglary matters in South Wales and Sussex.

Robert Mark Davies, the former head of finance at homelessness charity Cyrenians Cymru, carried out a £1.3m fraud by forging invoices at the Swansea-based charity. The fraud took place between 4 June 2008 and 11 November 2014. He used the stolen funds for personal expenses including boats, airfares, and staying at The Savoy hotel in London. The charity suffered severe financial impact, going into liquidation in May 2015 owing £915,000, with most projects transferred to other charities. He pleaded guilty to fraud by deception at Cardiff Magistrates Court in February 2017.

Ross Herbert subjected his pregnant partner to a pattern of violent assaults between summer 2021 and March 2022, including gripping her by the throat while she was 20 weeks pregnant, pinning her against walls, throwing her onto a bed and holding her down. The relationship began in summer 2020; violence started after the first year. He also regularly called her “stupid and thick” and told her she was a bad mother. The couple’s daughter was born in February 2022 after the relationship ended. He was arrested in July 2025.

Samuel Harvard

Samuel Harvard, 33, of Bryn Hir, Cwmbach, Aberdare, was operating as a runner for others in the cocaine trade while also building his own customer base by obtaining cocaine on credit and selling independently. This occurred while subject to a suspended prison sentence for stalking. In March 2026, police identified his phone number from a prior investigation, called it pretending to be a customer, attended his home, arrested him, and seized his phone. Analysis of messages confirmed his involvement at two levels of the trade, including a delivery where he owed £300.
Pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine and received one-third discount. Two previous convictions. 12 weeks of prior 16-week suspended sentence for stalking activated consecutively. Aggravating factor: continued drug supply on day of prior sentencing for stalking.
Peter Croasdale

Peter Croasdale, an ex-BBC producer and convicted sex offender, posed as 'Peter Alan' to deceive the headteacher of Haberdashers' Monmouth School into paying him £450 to film schoolgirls at a Christmas carol service. Police arrested him in Monmouthshire and found disturbing child abuse images and extreme pornography involving bestiality on his computer. The offences were committed between 16 January 2016 and 15 January 2021.

Pawel Kobis, 46, of Abertillery, was part of an organised crime group involved in a large-scale drug supply network stretching across south Wales and the south-west of England. The operation involved cocaine, crack cocaine, MDMA, methamphetamine, and ketamine with a street value of more than £3.5m. He received instructions from an upstream supplier and his role involved collecting and distributing large quantities of drugs across the UK.
All five pleaded guilty at their sentencing hearing on Monday. Kobis admitted conspiracy to supply crack cocaine.

Peter Warry, 46, of Chepstow Road, Newport, was caught in an online sting operation where a decoy posed as offering two young girls for sex. He believed he was grooming a 13-year-old girl (fictional character Sienna). Warry shared child abuse images via Kik and WhatsApp. Found with 85 category A, 25 category B, and 19 category C indecent images. Offending occurred over the past 14 months. Also admitted attempting sexual communication with a child and causing a child aged 13-15 to view sexual images, and failing notification requirements.
Pleaded guilty. Previous convictions for sexual crimes against children, including 12 months at Derby Crown Court in 2012 for distributing indecent images. Ordered to register as a sex offender for life and made subject of a sexual harm prevention order until 2036. Judge noted previous convictions as aggravating factor.
