Wayne Dart, 54, of Erith, was driving a white Maserati erratically on the M25 anticlockwise on March 10, 2025. He was tailgating, swerving across lanes, braking for no reason, and unable to drive in a straight line. He collided with traffic cones and the central reservation, causing damage and sending debris across the carriageway. Police pursued him, and upon stopping, he was found to be over the legal alcohol limit.
Charged with drink driving; blew 132 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath at the roadside and 123 in custody; PC Bromley described his driving as extremely dangerous and noted he showed complete disregard for the offence.
