Abdishakur Osman, a 22-year-old business student from Meesons Lane in Grays, Thurrock, stole clothing items worth £11,753 from Harrods Studio where he was employed as a security guard by a security company. The theft occurred on 15 June 2023, with stock missing between 14 June and 15 June 2023. CCTV footage showed him browsing the stock room, selecting items, and placing them in bags to take outside. Previously in July 2023, he returned missing stock worth about £11,000, prompting further inquiries and discovery of the June theft. Items from the second theft were not recovered. The theft was financially motivated due to home problems, and he had a friend sell the goods to avoid his mother discovering them.

In February 2022, Kurt Zouma kicked and slapped his Bengal cat in his kitchen, volleying it across the room, throwing shoes at it, and slapping its head while saying 'I swear I’ll kill it.' The incident was filmed by his brother Yoan Zouma and posted on Snapchat, viewed by five accounts before deletion. The act was premeditated, stemming from the cat damaging a chair. The cats were well cared for per vet report but were signed over to be rehomed. Zouma faced international condemnation, lost sponsorship with Adidas, was fined £250,000 by his club, and excluded from the France national team.
Pleaded guilty to two counts of causing unnecessary suffering to a cat. Genuine remorse shown but failed to care for the cat's needs. Subject to racist abuse and threats post-incident.
