The woman had intended to leave the multimillion-pound sum to an air ambulance charity and only £25,000 to Pearman, who was appointed as one of the main executors of her will. Pearman wrote the forged letter shortly before her death, when she lacked mental capacity to understand or sign it. After her death, he presented the letter to solicitors, who investigated and uncovered the forgery with help from her GP. Two other men, Aleksander Yuriev Shikov and Luke Derrett, were lured into signing the letter as witnesses after her death and provided false affidavits.

The works, carried out in November 2020 and again in December 2021 despite a stop notice, included dredging the riverbed, clearing a copse of 70 mature trees, and laying hard-standing for horses. He claimed the actions were to prevent flooding of nearby properties, but investigations found no flood prevention benefit and potential worsening of flood risks. Price disregarded SSSI protections requiring an Environment Agency permit, destroying habitats for otters, kingfishers, trout, and salmon. He also followed an official photographing the site for over 11 miles in an aggressive manner. He was spotted by covert police officers on April 9, 2024, who observed his activities in the Back Lane South residential area of Worcester. When Lannie realised police were in the area, he ran back to a friend’s address where he tried to flush a package down the toilet but was stopped by officers. That package contained over 50 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine and a large block of crack cocaine. Drugs paraphernalia and £1,625 cash were also recovered. He was arrested and charged the next day (April 10, 2024) at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court.

Zach Pearson, aged 19 and formerly of Washington Street, Kidderminster, was involved in a county line drug operation known as the EMZ line, later MJ line, advertising and selling Class A drugs including crack cocaine and heroin. He kept a viable handgun wrapped in a plastic bag in a kitchen at an address in Cranham Drive, Warndon, Worcester, which was forensically linked to him and contained live ammunition. Police arrested him on September 12, 2024, after reports of drug supply from the property. Further incidents included an attempted escape while wearing a balaclava from an address on Crickley Drive, where officers seized £1,470 in cash and a burner phone with messages offering drugs for sale. On October 3, 2024, he was found at an address on Brookthorpe Close potentially disposing of drugs, with crack cocaine and heroin worth approximately £6,800 seized from a bag he was carrying.

Bryan Robson, 50, of Moorfield Street, Hereford, attempted to murder his housemate on October 9, 2023, after becoming angry over noise. He retrieved a nine-inch knife from his room and attacked the victim in the communal kitchen, stabbing him multiple times in a frenzied and silent assault. A struggle ensued, leaving the victim with eight stab wounds to his arms, legs, and abdomen, requiring emergency surgery and a four-week hospital stay for a perforated bowel. The two housemates had a history of arguments, and the victim had previously reported assaults to their landlord.

Aamar Mohammed, a 35-year-old security worker at Worcester Shrub Hill railway station, approached a 14-year-old girl on duty on November 14, 2021, and asked where she was travelling. He escorted her to the platform and invited her to wait in the station office for warmth, but turned off the lights upon her approach. Inside the office, he forced himself upon her and sexually assaulted her, causing bruising. The victim escaped to board her train, after which Mohammed waved at her as it departed. She reported the incident to her family, leading to his arrest that evening. He failed to appear in court and was rearrested in March 2023.
Found guilty of two counts of sexual assault following a week-long trial. Given an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order and placed on the sex offenders register for life.

White sheets covered walls and floors to increase humidity. Akulli had two mobile phones and £200 cash on him, and he was in the country illegally after being refused entry in 2021. He had a significant role in the crime and gave a no comment interview after his arrest.
Pleaded guilty to being concerned in the production of cannabis. Had no previous convictions. Judge noted he was an illegal immigrant and could have sought legitimate work in Albania instead.
