In July 2024, he threw a two-litre bottle of fruit cocktail at her when she was upset, kicked in the bathroom door, and attempted to punch her, leaving a hole in the wall. Lika paid £3,000 to secure a place on the yacht as a passenger, driven by his eagerness to see his child born in the UK, though he was not involved in trafficking.

Between January 17 and 26, 2023, David Collins initiated contact with an undercover police officer posing as a 13-year-old girl on the website Adult Friend Finder. He sent sexual messages, asked about her sexual experiences, requested that she watch him masturbate on camera, and proceeded to do so during a video call, despite her mentioning she had homework. Police later seized his devices and found a small number of indecent images of children.
Pled guilty to the charges. Judge James Adkin stated he did not consider Collins to be an imminent risk of committing a sexual offence against a child.
