Plymouth Magistrates' Court Sentencing Results

Charles Thomas, aged 30, of Apsley Road, Plymouth, was arrested during the 'South West Unity March' protest on December 5, 2025, near Plymouth Civic Centre, involving Flag Force Plymouth group and counter-protesters. A Section 60AA order was authorised, requiring removal of face coverings to prevent concealing identity. He refused to remove his mask and was arrested by Devon and Cornwall Police.

HSE inspector Hatti Shipp served a prohibition notice, but Hendry failed to comply, ignored requests for further information under Section 20 of the Health and Safety at Work Act, and continued the unsafe work. He was verbally abusive to the inspector and did not attend court, leading to an arrest warrant.
