On June 6, 2024, police executed a warrant at his home in Stockwell Court, Mansfield, where he attempted to flush 94 wraps of heroin and 37 wraps of crack cocaine down the toilet while sitting on it.

In a separate incident in June 2024, Dilkes committed theft, assault by beating and possessed an offensive weapon in a public place.

Harvey Hollingworth, aged 21, was part of a gang that committed a series of burglaries in Papplewick, Sherwood, Hucknall and Nuthall between July and September 2021. The offenders broke into homes by forcing patio door locks, stealing car keys, and taking six high-end vehicles while victims slept. Hollingworth was the registered keeper of the car used in the first offence; his fingerprints were on two false plates later found on stolen vehicles. Mobile phone data and his electronic tag (fitted for other offences) placed him at each burglary location. He also had photos of some of the cars on his phone and was found with a stolen key when arrested.

David Banton, 60, of Penrhyn Close, St Ann’s, Nottingham, was arrested on December 10, 2024, outside Nottingham Railway Station. A neighbourhood sergeant spotted Banton and a woman in distress entering a taxi in Station Street. The taxi was stopped for welfare check, leading to Banton's search. Officers found more than £600 in cash and around £2,000 worth of crack cocaine and heroin in his coat pockets. This followed a previous incident in November 2023 where he was found with heroin, cocaine, and £30,000 cash after a drug deal, resulting in a two-year suspended sentence.
Pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession with intent to supply heroin and possession of criminal property. Had a prior suspended sentence from November 2023 for similar offences. Long history of drug crimes dating back to 2004.

From May 2021 to January 2022, Matthew Johnson, 42, from Misterton in Nottinghamshire, submitted four fabricated insurance claims to AXA, falsely claiming burglaries at homes in Shetland and Goole. He claimed theft of expensive items including a MacBook computer, televisions, gaming consoles, and large amounts of collectible Lego sets, receiving over £14,000 in payouts. AXA detected irregularities such as duplicate receipts and altered invoices. In June 2023, police raided his home and found the claimed stolen Lego on display. He used false identities and forged documents to perpetrate the fraud.
Must repay £14,000. Pleaded guilty to fraud by false representation.

Tyrone Rowe, 41, of Southey Street, Radford, approached a 71-year-old market trader working on his stall on Radford Road, Hyson Green, Nottingham, around 11:45am on 19 June 2024, asking to test a phone charger at a bookmaker across the road. This led to an argument, after which Rowe punched the trader in the face twice, causing him to fall and hit his head on the concrete, resulting in fractures to both sides of his face, shattered cheekbones and eye sockets.
Pleaded guilty to wounding without intent. The court heard that the victim’s health had deteriorated since the assault and that he no longer felt able to work on his market stall.
Tylor Munslow

Tylor Munslow, 24, of no fixed address, brutally attacked a woman known to him in a car park at Bestwood Park shortly before 11.30pm on 15 September 2023, on the same day he was released on licence from HMP Ranby where he had been serving a sentence for assault. He beat and raped her. A member of the public witnessed the distressed victim and called 999. Officers located the car and victim who disclosed the assault. Munslow initially denied the accusations claiming consent but changed his pleas before trial.
Pleaded guilty to rape, assault by penetration, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm on 8 October. Judge Stuart Rafferty KC noted mental health issues including schizophrenia but high culpability. Had been drinking all day and was released on licence from HMP Ranby that day after serving sentence for assault.

On 31 August 2024 at around 10.20pm, Joshua Kirby, 35, of Easegill Court, Top Valley, travelled the wrong way around a Broxtowe roundabout, ignored police orders to stop, and led a high-speed chase exceeding 100mph in a 50mph zone. He made dangerous overtakes, lost control on a bend in Moorgreen, crashed into a tree on Dovecote Road sustaining a fractured spine, broken ribs, and dislocated shoulder. The motorbike had cloned plates.
Pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, and driving without insurance. Also found to have breached a suspended sentence order. Banned from driving for five years and two months and must pass an extended driving re-test.

It was suspected they arranged for paper and envelopes soaked in ‘spice’ to be sent to prison. Total value of seized substances and adulterants was between £127,000 and £194,000.

Osaseri was linked to street gangs and involved in drug dealing around university campuses. After the attack, he took the victim's rucksack and fled the scene. He was arrested at his home with the knife used and bags of cannabis.
Confessed to wounding with intent, theft from a person, possession of a knife in a public place, and possession of a Class B drug. Judge noted it was 'pure luck' that he was not being sentenced for murder. Showed no remorse and bragged about the incident in a rap verse.
Kevin Davies

Nathan Hope
Grooming and sexual offences against a child *

Nathan Hope, aged 32 at the time, contacted a 13-year-old girl on YouTube between November 2023 and March 2024, providing his email and phone number, and inviting her to Discord where he openly admitted being a paedophile and expressed desire to sexually assault her. He sent a series of inappropriate, sexualised messages and met with the girl multiple times in Nottinghamshire, kissing her. The messages were discovered by the girl's mother, leading to police involvement. Hope, of Chatham Street, Leigh, was tracked down, refused to provide device login details, and gave no-comment answers in interview but later pleaded guilty.
Pleaded guilty to meeting a girl under 16 years of age following grooming, two counts of causing or inciting a girl to engage in sexual activity, and three offences under the Child Abduction Act. Made the subject of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order restricting online activities and access to children.

The offences occurred while she was a child with no prior sexual experience, and she reported them years later, stating they have impacted every aspect of her life, including her childhood memories and ongoing fear of encountering him.

During the first robbery, he wore a mask and hood, threatened the shop assistant with a knife and said he would stab him. On the second robbery, he produced a thin pointed item from his pocket and threatened to stab another staff member in the neck unless money was handed over. He was arrested on 15 August 2022 when entering the store for a third time, in possession of a screwdriver.

Matthew Wright

Matthew Wright, driving an Amazon Prime lorry rented from Amazon, departed the depot in Sherwood Way South and travelled east along the A617. He was in the wrong lane (lane one) and made an illegal right turn at the A617/A60 crossroads junction in Mansfield in the early hours of 12 July 2023, cutting across lanes two and three while the right turn light was red, colliding with motorcyclist Nigel Osler who was adhering to the 60mph speed limit. Mr Osler, aged 61, died later that day at Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham.
Pleaded guilty. First criminal conviction. Only been a licensed HGV driver for 55 days at the time. Further disqualified from driving for 5 years after release.

Alan Doig, a 57-year-old senior assistant accountant for Gedling Borough Council in Nottinghamshire, transferred £934,343.30 into his own bank account through 86 fraudulent transactions between 2003 and 2022 to fund his gambling addiction. He was dismissed after colleagues discovered discrepancies in the financial system, and an internal investigation led to his arrest.
Pleaded guilty to obtaining a money transfer by deception and fraud by abuse of position. Judge Nirmal Shant KC noted that he abused his position of trust and squandered public money.
Alanzo Walker

Alanzo Walker, then 18 now 20, of Coppice Road, Arnold, was caught with an imitation gun in a taxi in Radford on March 14, 2023, claiming he was paid £50 by a Snapchat friend to pick it up. Ammunition was found at his address in a sock. While on bail, in September 2024, he had thousands of pounds' worth of cocaine and cannabis in a car at his Arnold home and his partner's in Calverton, plus cash.
Pleaded guilty to possession of an imitation firearm, possession of ammunition, possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs, and possession of criminal property. Judge Tina Dempster noted he was under direction of others and reckless. No previous convictions.

Bob James, 37, of Linton Rise, Bakersfield, exchanged sexual messages with three underage girls he believed to be real, asking one if she was willing to have sex and offering to buy ice cream and book a hotel in Newcastle. The 'girls' were paedophile hunters named Chloe, Immy, and Willow. He set messages to delete after 24 hours, but one reset helped the investigation. Offending occurred between July and September 2023.
Pleaded guilty to attempting to cause a child to watch a sexual act, attempted sexual communication with a child, and attempting to incite a child to engage in sexual activity. Judge Julie Warburton noted he posed a high risk of serious harm to children. Lifetime sexual harm prevention order and placed on sex offender register for life.
James Goral

James Goral, 40, high on drugs bought online, walked into his mother and stepfather’s bedroom at their home in School Road, Langold, Worksop, on February 21, 2024, and stabbed his stepfather in the arm, claiming 'she told me to do it'. He was calmly sitting in his bedroom when police arrived and directed them to the knife.
Pleaded guilty to assault occasioning grievous bodily harm. Judge James Sampson linked the offence to drug-induced psychosis and noted high risk of harm. Five-year restraining order prohibiting drugs at the family home.
Jacob Fores

Louis Macanally

Masked teens Louis Macanally, 19, and Shaun Saunders, 18, both under the influence of alcohol and nitrous oxide, lured a man to a supermarket car park in King's Road, Newark, under the pretence of selling drugs. When the victim had no money, violence erupted; one stabbed him in the side with a kitchen knife before they fled. The incident occurred at around 10.35pm on February 3, 2024.
