On November 7, she shoplifted from Home Bargains in Loughborough, filling a basket with items and fleeing; when pursued by staff, she punched the worker in the face and threatened to stab her. She also stole six bottles of spirits from Tesco in Loughborough in early October.

On September 2024, Greg Adcock, 49, entered the Flawless Vape store in Market Street, Loughborough, armed with a cricket bat in his hands and a lock knife in his pocket. An altercation occurred inside the shop with a man there. After police were called, Adcock left and sat outside. Two officers arrived and in the ensuing struggle, one officer was hit in the arm and the other in the head by the bat before Adcock was restrained. Adcock claimed self-defence, asserting the officers attacked him first. Separately, in April 2024, while living at a flat in Peel Drive, Loughborough, Adcock verbally abused responding officers during a neighbour dispute, struggled with them, was sprayed with Captor pepper spray, punched an officer in the face (with handcuffs grazing the officer's forehead), and was subsequently Tasered.
Required to spend 15 days on programmes recommended by the Probation Service. Ordered to pay £650 court costs and £187 victim surcharge. No compensation ordered against the police officers. A mother walking past with her children, aged six and nine, had her eldest child notice and comment on the defendant's actions, leading her to hurry them into the Co-op. She felt violated and anxious, fearing sinister intentions towards children. Police were called, and Soman was arrested at the scene.
Found guilty after trial; denied offence; community order given instead of custody due to potential rehabilitative effect; hours increased because offence committed in front of children.

Nikesh Chauhan, 31, from Kendal Road, Rushey Mead, Leicester, owned four unregistered XL Bully dogs named Scar, Panther, Bueno and Snow White following the law change on February 1, 2024, requiring registration by February of the previous year. He was unaware of the change due to suffering from depression. Police seized the dogs on November 19, 2025, after a tip-off. No evidence of aggression from the dogs, which were described as friendly and house-trained, like his children. All other legal requirements such as insurance, muzzles, neutering, and microchipping had been met.

When questioned, he kicked a Leicestershire Police sergeant in the foot and resisted arrest, trying to get away before being subdued. A search revealed a box of cannabis, three wraps of heroin, and 10 wraps of crack cocaine (13 deals of class A drugs). He informed officers of the drugs and complied after the other men were let go.
Pleaded guilty to three drug possession charges and resisting arrest. Initially charged with assault on police but charge dropped. Represented by Ishtiaq Sarwar. Amy Kent, 33, of Landsdowne Road in Leicester, was assaulted by her partner who stamped on her face, leaving her covered in blood. She had been drinking and taking cocaine. Police took her to Leicester Royal Infirmary. Due to her intoxicated and disruptive behaviour, she ran from officers, damaged a police car by knocking off the wing mirror, and later racially abused a female police constable in a 20-minute tirade from her cell, using racist terms, swearing, commenting on the officer's weight and mother. The incident was captured on bodycam. It occurred on the evening leading to her court appearance on December 19, 2025.
Pleaded guilty. Suffered from emotionally unstable personality disorder, depression, PTSD, anxiety and insomnia. Had 11 prior low-level disorder offences, none since 2018. Head injury from domestic assault affected behaviour. Stopped drugs and reduced alcohol intake.

The incident occurred in July 2024 in the cul-de-sac off Brockenhurst Drive. The neighbours' young children witnessed the event, leading to significant fear and long-term impact on the family, including paranoia and sleep disturbances.

Police raided his family home in October 2023, seizing his computer and hard drives, where they recovered 271 deleted child abuse images (some featuring children as young as three) and one extreme pornographic image. Edwards admitted the downloads upon arrest, stating he deleted the illegal files immediately and was not attracted to children. The images were discovered due to his IP address being reported, and he was charged about two years later.
Pleaded guilty to four charges of making indecent images of children. Described as a pornography addict with autism; no searches for illegal images found; lost family and contact with children as a result.

On a night in June 2025, Joshua Burns, 34, of Russell Street, Loughborough, sat next to the victim, a barman from the Loughborough Arms pub, on a bench outside the pub at around 3am while the victim waited for an Uber with friends. Burns made derogatory comments about the victim's 'skinny legs' and his friends. When asked to leave them alone, Burns swore and punched the victim in the face, causing a gash near his mouth requiring stitches. The incident was captured on CCTV, leading to police involvement. En route to the station, Burns abused an officer with transphobic and homophobic comments.

The thefts were captured on CCTV; he admitted them to police, stating he drank the beer, used the tablets to wash clothes, and sold the steaks for food and other necessities.

On November 22, Michael Anderson, aged 61, of Queens Drive, Enderby, drove his Ford Focus while drunk and entered the McDonald's drive-thru queue in the Meridian industrial area near Fosse Park. A staff member noticed his drunken state and tipped off police officers who were behind him in the queue. After leaving with his order, officers lost sight of the vehicle but later found it stopped at the junction of Meridian East and Watergate Lane. Anderson admitted pulling over after realizing how drunk he was. He failed a roadside breath test, was arrested, and taken to Euston Street Police Station. He was slurring words and unsteady on his feet. The car's MOT had expired over two months earlier.

On October 15, 2025, at 4pm in Hastings Road, Northfields, Leicester, Mary Hirrell was arguing in the street with a man, her ex-partner who had assaulted her earlier that day. She was with her five-year-old son who was crying. She threw a can of drink at a wall aggressively, was unsteady, slurring her speech, and smelled of alcohol. She shouted and swore at the man and became abusive towards police when searched. She was arrested for being drunk and disorderly. While in custody, she admitted owning a pitbull terrier named Lightning at her home. A police dog expert confirmed it was a banned pitbull breed. In interview, she claimed it was a Staffy and didn't recall her earlier statement. The incident occurred after she had drinks at her sister's, suspecting her drink was spiked.

On Sunday, September 7, 2025, in Ash Grove, Coalville, Ellie Gibbons, 25, and her neighbour, who were former friends, got into a row that escalated into violence. The neighbour accused Gibbons of being a bad mum because she smokes weed and claimed Gibbons made fake Facebook profiles about her. Gibbons had recently called the police seven times about similar claims by the neighbour. Gibbons threatened to put a brick through the neighbour's window, picked up a bag of dog excrement, and threw it at the neighbour's face. The neighbour then slapped Gibbons, who struck back, and they fell to the ground struggling. The victim suffered scratches on her face, grazing on her knee, and pain in her knee and back. The incident was reported to Leicestershire Police.

Faye Knight, of Mancetter Close, Kirby Muxloe, was out drinking in a pub in Market Place, St Ives, Cornwall, on September 9, 2025, when she became aggressive towards staff and passers-by. Police were called, and upon being handcuffed and led to a police van, she spat on an officer's legs and boots, then kicked a police constable four to six times in the van, causing reddening to his arm. She called the officer 'a pervert' and 'dirty' during the incident.
Pleaded guilty to assault by beating. Ordered to pay £100 compensation to the officer and £48 victim surcharge. No previous convictions; incident attributed to PTSD and belief she was being kidnapped.

On a day in April 2025, Garon Gomes, 27, of Border Drive, Mowmacre Hill, Leicester, walked to a petrol station on the corner of Beaumont Leys Lane and Parker Drive with a friend to buy cigarettes. He spotted the victim, who had earlier threatened him over Gomes's friendship with the victim's girlfriend. Words were exchanged, and Gomes approached the victim's car while the victim was in the driver's seat with the window down. Gomes punched the victim repeatedly in the face, grabbed his arm, and twisted it against the car in a prolonged attack, captured on CCTV.

Luke Ward, 42, from Cort Crescent, Braunstone, Leicester, made three separate purchases of flick knives from overseas via Facebook in August and September 2025. The packages were intercepted by Border Force, who reported the prohibited weapons to Leicestershire Police. On October 15, 2025, police searched his home and recovered two death stars (throwing stars) given to him by friends years ago. Ward, a self-employed scaffolder who collects medieval weapons for display, had no intention of using them violently.
Pleaded guilty to three charges of importing prohibited weapons and one charge of possessing offensive weapons. Weapons ordered to be destroyed. Remorseful and unaware of illegality. Completed 40 hours unpaid work from prior community order in June 2025 for criminal damage and threatening behaviour.
Kenzie Howarth-Green

On September 21, 2025, Kenzie Howarth-Green, 20, of Church Hill Road, Thurmaston, accidentally elbowed a man on the packed dancefloor at Mosh nightclub in Leicester city centre, becoming agitated and aggressive. He punched the man in the eye and continued punching him during a scuffle inside the club. He also punched the victim's friend in the mouth. After being ejected by security, Howarth-Green chased the victims outside, punched the original victim in the face, knocking him to the floor, and kicked him in the face while he was down, rendering him unconscious for a few seconds. The victim suffered swelling to his face, grazes, and was checked for head injuries at hospital. The friend had a cut lip and bruising to his jaw. Howarth-Green had consumed excessive alcohol and was influenced by recent bereavements (uncle's death from alcoholism and grandfather's death from a brain tumour).
Pleaded guilty. No previous convictions. Remorse shown and in employment. Undergoing hypnotherapy for recent bereavements. Prior conditional caution for assault completed.
Levi Orridge

On October 11, 2025, at about 5.30am in Leicester city centre, Levi Orridge, 19, and his 17-year-old friend chased a man following a verbal exchange that escalated into a fracas. They knocked the man to the ground and both kicked and punched him while he was down, as captured on CCTV. Orridge later pushed his friend away and gestured to the victim to go home. Police were alerted by CCTV operators, spotted Orridge, chased and caught him after he fled.
Pleaded guilty. Other attacker was his 17-year-old friend dealt with by community resolution. Orridge joined in the attack, was easily influenced, suffers with ADHD, anxiety and depression. Judge noted it was a persistent and prolonged attack.

On the night of October 10, 2025, Connor Pick was spotted by CCTV operators snorting cocaine with another man in Wellington Street, Leicester city centre. Leicestershire Police officers searched him, found a bag of cocaine in his coat pocket, and he fled. During the chase, he assaulted an officer by pulling his arm away. He was eventually caught and arrested.

On March 25, 2025, while waiting in A&E at Leicester Royal Infirmary, Simeon Little, 29, of Weymouth Street, Belgrave, Leicester, argued aggressively with his brother who was in pain from a broken arm and had only been given paracetamol. Security ejected Little, and as he left, he shouted a tirade of racial abuse at the security guard, using an offensive term and comments about the guard's mother. The guard, who is white and had worked at the hospital for 18 years, found the abuse distressing and disgusting.
Pleaded guilty to racially-aggravated harassment, alarm or distress. Language described as totally inappropriate and offensive. Prior record of 11 offences, last in 2020 for criminal damage. Incident arose from frustration over brother's treatment for broken arm.

On September 28, 2025, at around 2am, Kieron Suffolk, of Glaisdale Close, Beaumont Leys, Leicester, was extremely intoxicated from alcohol and cocaine. He stumbled along Castle Fields in Beaumont Leys, attempting to open residents' front doors, prompting multiple 999 calls. Police found him slurring and incoherent in a front garden. Upon arrest for being drunk and disorderly, he became violent, flailing arms and requiring restraint. In the police van, he thrashed and injured himself.
