Andrew Eyre, 55, and Nimesh Patel, 52, ran the waste tyre site Synergy Tyres (Midland) Ltd. at Broad March Industrial Estate without an environmental permit. Tyres were stored unsafely, creating significant fire and pollution risks. Environment Agency inspections throughout 2020 found huge amounts of tyres exceeding the 40-tonne weekly legal limit in 52 out of 59 weeks. Arrested in February 2021 after site not brought into compliance.
Pleaded guilty. HHJ Lucking KC said they had been reckless and displayed wilful blindness. Operations Manager with day-to-day control of the site.

Maciej Gorecki, aged 35, from Hassop Walk in Bromley, was sentenced at Northampton Crown Court for possession of a Stanley knife at Waterside Campus in Northampton and indecent exposure. The indecent exposure was a sexual offence that violated community standards. The court imposed a community order incorporating four months of alcohol treatment and 80 hours of unpaid work.
Also required to register as a sex offender for five years. The indecent exposure constituted a sexual offence.

Leslie Tipping, aged 49, of Swale Drive, Northampton, was sentenced at Northampton Crown Court for three counts of failing to comply with notification requirements of the sex offenders register, specifically by not informing authorities about three bank cards. He was also convicted of two counts of breaching a sexual harm prevention order, involving failing to present an internet-enabled mobile phone when requested and not notifying ownership of such a device. The prosecution stressed that full transparency is essential for managing risks from registered sex offenders. The offences related to lapses in disclosure that hindered police oversight.
Also ordered to complete 100 hours of unpaid work, pay £150 costs and a £187 surcharge. The judge opted for a community-based punishment for breaches of sex offender register and sexual harm prevention order.

Keith McFadden, formerly of Talbot Road, Northampton, committed historic child sex offences and bragged about them on the dark web. Jean-Pierre Francis, 33, installed discreet cameras in victims' homes and businesses between 2015 and 2025 to secretly film six women aged in their 20s to 60s. Cameras were hidden in items including a camera pen, USB sticks, plugs, and a shower gel bottle. Investigation launched in May 2024 after a woman found a hidden camera in her Northampton bedroom. Devices seized and analysed by Northamptonshire Police, revealing hundreds of videos and images.
Pleaded guilty to six counts of voyeurism on 13 March at Northampton Crown Court. Destruction order made for offending devices. 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order preventing ownership of phones with cameras or other recording devices. Placed on Sex Offenders’ Register for life.
