On April 4, Barry sped through Epsom at over 80mph in a black Vauxhall Astra, risking lives and forcing officers to call off the chase due to safety concerns. The next day, Op Viking officers spotted him acting suspiciously near shops on Greens Lane, and he was arrested after a brief pursuit. A search of his home uncovered two large knives, a stab vest, scales, multiple phones, and wraps of Class A and B drugs. He pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs, dangerous driving, driving without insurance, and driving without a licence.
Pleaded guilty at Guildford Crown Court. Also given a 5-year driving ban.

Thomas Cox preyed on two girls aged between 11 and 16 between 2009 and 2015 in Bordon and Frensham while working for a dance company run by his mother at an independent school near Farnham and as a graduate teacher trainee. He used affection to gain trust, emotional blackmail, and displayed predatory behaviour.
Convicted of 12 counts including nine counts of sexual activity with a child and three counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity. Denied guilt throughout. Also placed on Sex Offenders’ Register indefinitely, given Sexual Harm Prevention Order, and ordered to pay £120 victim surcharge.

Simon Hopkins and Leon Passlow ran Digicam International Ltd in Bagshot, obtaining hundreds of domestic-use-only BSkyB cards using fake names and long addresses. These cards were sold to commercial premises including pubs, betting shops and yachts, defrauding BSkyB of monthly fees. The scam operated from January 2008 to September 2012. Investigation began in May 2012 following complaints to FAPL. Homes and company searched in September 2012, revealing £2m annual turnover.
Pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud between January 2008 and September 2012. Ordered to pay back £992,947.60 under Proceeds of Crime Act or serve additional six years.

Simon Thornton groomed a 13-year-old girl from her 13th birthday over three years, giving her sweets and a top-of-the-range mobile phone. He engaged in sexual activity with her weekly in locations including their houses, an office, woods, and a van. He had her sleep in bed with him and his wife to normalise behaviour. Condoms found under floorboards in his butcher's shop office. Arrested on October 24, 2017. Victim suffered depression and relationship issues.
Pleaded guilty to 16 charges including eight counts of sexual activity with a child, possessing indecent images of a child. No previous convictions. Expressed remorse. Judge Robert Fraser noted he exploited the victim's vulnerability. Must serve at least half on licence if released early. Placed on Sexual Offenders Register indefinitely with Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
Scott Bamford

Scott Bamford, a 54-year-old from Walsall, engaged in sexually graphic conversations on an online chat website and made arrangements to meet three children, one of whom was aged two and the other two were under 11, in Camberley earlier in 2022. He arrived at a car park in the town that day with children's toys appropriate for different ages, sweets, condoms and lubricant in the boot of his car and was arrested after an investigation by specialist officers from the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU). None of the victims were placed at risk.
Pleaded guilty to three counts of arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sexual offence. Also made subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and ordered to sign on the Sex Offenders' Register for an unlimited period.
