Videos showed Austin handling and discharging the firearm in public.

A search of the van recovered the stolen gun safe and a personalised birthday card linking the men to the crime.

The survivor was in his first few years of secondary school. White used his position and involvement in clubs to select and groom the child. Over several years, he subjected the boy to repeated abuse at his home, starting with leaving the child alone in a room for extended periods, escalating to exposing the boy to explicit material and committing acts of indecent assault. After each incident, White manipulated the boy by blaming him and shaming him into silence.
Found guilty after trial. Sentence to run consecutively to a prior 10-year sentence for non-recent sex offences. Used position as priest to groom and abuse the victim, blaming the boy to ensure silence.

Ruzziella Tamargo, a 46-year-old care home manager, abused her position of trust to steal from a vulnerable adult under her care. The victim, who is non-verbal, autistic, and has a learning disability, had £13,550 withdrawn from his current account between July 2024 and earlier periods, and additional thousands of pounds from his savings account in November 2023, leaving it empty. Tamargo had access to the victim's bank cards and admitted to making the withdrawals, using the money for her own gain by lending it to friends, family, and colleagues without repayment. She resigned from her position on November 30, 2023, and was arrested in September 2024.
Pleaded guilty to fraud by abuse of position. Ordered to pay an £187 surcharge. Police described her actions as a gross abuse of trust.

Richard Flower, 39, from Sunbury-on-Thames, attacked his long-term partner with a knife as she slept on the sofa on 25 August 2024. She was stabbed twice in the face, sustaining life-changing injuries that may prevent her from smiling properly again, as well as defensive injuries to her hand and arm. In her statement, the victim described the mental and physical scars as permanent.
Sentenced as a dangerous offender. The attack stemmed from an episode of poor mental health where he believed his partner was cheating on him.
Kaim Mpenga
Supplying crack cocaine and heroin *

Kaim Mpenga, a 28-year-old from Middlesex, ran two county lines for the ‘Paris’ group, distributing crack cocaine and heroin from London to areas including Woking, Guildford, Farnham, and along the M25/A3 corridor. He also operated a separate drug line named ‘Major’ supplying the same drugs in London. He was arrested at his home address during a police raid in June, with evidence linking him to the organised crime network.

James Cartwright

James Cartwright murdered and raped his ex-partner, Samantha Mickleburgh, at Pennyhill Park Hotel in Bagshot on April 14, 2024. Despite having another girlfriend, his possessiveness led to the attack, where Samantha sustained a fractured skull and signs of strangulation. She had agreed to stay with him as a final kindness on his birthday.
