In September 2014, Tariq Syed groomed a 13-year-old girl by befriending her family and giving gifts. He drove her to an isolated wooded area, forced her to have sex, ignored her screams, and threatened to kill and bury her. Forensic evidence matched his semen on her school trousers. After the assault, he threatened the victim and offered her family £15,000 to return to Romania to avoid prosecution. He was convicted of rape and perverting the course of justice.
Pleaded not guilty but convicted by jury after less than two hours of deliberation. Ordered to register as a sex offender for life.

Tyrell Robinson and his friend Korie Berman met three 14-year-olds at his flat in Bradford in August 2018. Robinson knew the girls' ages and had sex with one of them in his bedroom. He also took a photo of Berman in bed with the two other girls and shared it with him. The girls had been given alcohol and had little or no recollection of events, becoming violently ill afterwards. Robinson was suspended by Bradford City days after and later sacked.

Usman Sheikh went to his mother’s home in Halifax on August 20 last year to collect drugs but became agitated when he could not find them. He smashed furniture, threatened to kill her, strangled her to the point she believed she lost consciousness, and punched her in the face causing a bleed on the brain. One of his Cane Corso dogs bit her multiple times while he failed to intervene. She escaped and contacted family who alerted police. Sheikh was arrested shortly afterwards.

Had long history of drug addiction and consumed cocaine, alcohol and diazepam before the attack. Recorder Tony Watkin noted significant risk of serious harm to the public. A gang of 12 men, including Yasser Kabir, exploited and raped a vulnerable schoolgirl in Keighley between 2011 and 2012. Kabir, aged 25 from Belgrave Road, Keighley, was one of ten men convicted of raping the girl when she was between 13 and 14 years old. The offences were arranged by a violent drug dealer, Arif Choudhury, who has fled to Bangladesh. Kabir was found guilty of three counts of rape against the schoolgirl, for which he received 15 years' imprisonment to run concurrently. Additionally, Kabir was sentenced for raping and abusing two young girls when he was a boy himself; one victim was aged seven to nine, and the other six to seven. He received five years for four counts of rape, four counts of causing a child to engage in sexual activity, and four counts of sexual assault, to run consecutively, resulting in a total of 20 years. The judge highlighted the degradation and violence inflicted on the victim, with some abuses occurring in an underground car park of a disused police station.
Judge Roger Thomas described the offences as 'heartless and demeaning'. Kabir received 15 years concurrently for three counts of rape of a schoolgirl aged 13-14, and a consecutive 5 years for prior child sex offences against two young girls.

Walter McDonald participated in a violent disorder incident in Sowerby, near Thirsk, in 2021. The victim was attacked with shovels, severely injured with cuts and bruising.
