He shared more than 80 images, including 22 at category A, with like-minded individuals. While under investigation, he began hoarding more images and was arrested again in December 2019.

He engaged in Skype chats making explicit suggestions about abusing young children. An undercover police officer interacted with the persona on the website, uncovering the deception. Kundi's activities breached a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) he was under, as his phone's web browser was set to 'private' mode. He had a previous conviction for distributing indecent images of children and was released on 20 April 2016, but began committing new offences within three months.

A forensic examination of his phone revealed WhatsApp conversations with another convicted sex offender in which they discussed child sexual abuse in explicit detail, and showed Snapchat had been repeatedly installed and uninstalled. He was sentenced at Bradford Crown Court on 13 December 2022 for breaching the order imposed following his 2016 conviction for serious sexual offences against a child under 13.

Naveed Akhtar, 44, of Newport Place, Bradford, was convicted of rape following a trial at Bradford Crown Court in February 2019, as part of a case involving the grooming and sexual abuse of girls. While on bail during the trial, Akhtar attempted to smuggle drugs and mobile phones into HMP Leeds for co-defendant Fahim Iqbal. On 4 February 2019, Akhtar hid a parcel containing mini mobile phones and opioid tablets in a toilet roll dispenser at the court. A second package with cannabis, opioid tablets, and miniature phones was later found under a chair in the dock. Akhtar admitted two counts of drugs offences and one count of attempting to smuggle mobile phones. He was sentenced to 17 years’ imprisonment for the rape, with an additional five months for the smuggling offences, resulting in a total term of 17 years and five months.

Mohammad Riaz was the owner of Sunrise Supermarket on Westfield Road, raided by Trading Standards officers and West Yorkshire Police in June 2021 following a tip-off. Hundreds of packets of illicit tobacco were found hidden across the store, including in a filing cabinet, boxes on shelves, and a loft space. Items seized included 144 20-packs of counterfeit Richmond cigarettes, 116 50g packets of counterfeit Golden Virginia tobacco, 1,742 tobacco products not complying with standardised packaging rules, and 538 tobacco products without statutory health warnings. The contraband, worth tens of thousands of pounds, was sold at cheaper prices than legal tobacco. Riaz was behind the counter at the time.
Pleaded guilty. Judge Andrew Hatton commented: “Such offences strike at the very heart of economy at a time when the economy needs to be as strong as it possibly can be.”

On January 15, 2025, provisional licence holder Madison Thackwray, aged 18, lost control of her Vauxhall Corsa on Harrogate Road in Bradford after approaching a left-hand bend at inappropriate speed. She had consumed wine earlier that night but was under the legal limit. The car hit a bollard, struck trees, and rolled onto its side. A rear passenger suffered grave injuries, required extraction by emergency services, and now needs a wheelchair and full-time care. Thackwray had no recollection of the crash. She pleaded guilty at the magistrates court in May and was sentenced at Bradford Crown Court.
Pleaded guilty to causing serious injury by dangerous driving. No previous convictions. Also banned from driving for 33 months. Passenger suffered catastrophic injuries including brain haemorrhage, fractured neck and lower back, punctured lung, and spleen damage, now uses a wheelchair. Thackwray expressed deep remorse.

The offences occurred while he held a trusted role at the mosque, where he abused his position to perpetrate the sexual assaults on the young victim. The judge noted the profound impact of the abuse, causing devastating effects on the victim including severe psychological damage. Alibhai was also given a five-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and placed on the Sex Offenders Register for ten years.
Judge Ahmed Nadim said: 'You are a hypocrite with an unhealthy sexual interest. Your disgraceful conduct in a place of worship has betrayed the trust of the mosque congregation and the students alike.' Steven Wilkinson, a 44-year-old man from Bradford, West Yorkshire, engaged in online chats with two undercover police officers posing as 14-year-old boys, making explicit comments. A search of his home on Elmfield Drive in March 2023 uncovered nearly 350 indecent images of children downloaded between 2013 and March 2023, including the abuse of babies and older children. He distributed material to at least 14 other users, including over 300 attachments to one user. He admitted two offences of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child, three offences of distributing indecent images, and three of possessing indecent images. He had a caution in 2013 for outraging public decency.

In November 2020, a fire spread through the Bradford site causing travel disruption, school and business closures affecting 14,300 pupils, and requiring nearly 100 firefighters. Enforcement notice served in October 2020 to clear tyres.
Did not have required environmental permit. Arrested in Spain after international arrest warrants issued. Judge HHJ Gibson commented on deliberate breach of law, experience in tyre storage, recklessness regarding fire risk, and valuing tyres at £1 million.
