The breaches occurred on three separate occasions shortly after the order, including being abusive on a train entering Redditch on October 14 and being a nuisance at the booking office and begging outside the station on November 8. His prior offences spanned two years and included assault, racially-aggravated crimes, begging, being drunk, and threatening staff, the public, and police officers.

Tony James, aged 62 from Ibstock Close, Winyates, Redditch, groomed and abused a girl aged four to ten over five years in the 1980s and 90s at an address in Balsall Heath, Birmingham. He repeatedly sexually assaulted her on a whim, took her to brothels while having sex with prostitutes, forced her to play indecent games, ducked her under water as punishment for bed-wetting, and made her touch him inappropriately. He also physically and sexually assaulted another girl and boy aged six to eight at a flat in Turves Green, Birmingham, including indecent assaults after drinking sessions and beatings with a stick. Arrested in October 2012 and charged with 19 counts of indecency with a child, child cruelty, indecent assault, and rape.
Found guilty of all 19 counts after denying allegations. No remorse shown. Described by investigating officer as one of the most cold-hearted offenders.

Dayo Cromwell, a 35-year-old car trader, was arrested in February 2014 after attempting to flee from police while driving a blue Citroen through Bulkington, Warwickshire. He was detained in a nearby garden and found in possession of crack cocaine worth £27,000. A search of his flat on Baldwin Croft, Bell Green, uncovered a large haul of Class A drugs including heroin and cocaine with a street value exceeding £992,000, along with cutting agent and a press machine for preparing deals. Additionally, a loaded MAC 10 machine gun with 23 live rounds and a further 42 bullets were recovered. The drugs were believed to be destined for sale on the streets of Coventry.
Pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition. DCI Simon Wallis commented that the sentence rightly reflects his operation as a top level criminal.

Jack Bromell, aged 20, from Richards Close, Kenilworth, was part of an organised crime group from Warwickshire investigated under Operation Toulouse by Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police's Serious and Organised Crime Unit. The group was involved in the criminal activity of regional and national distribution of multi-kilo amounts of cocaine and amphetamine, motivated by greed and preying on vulnerable community members. The covert investigation started in July 2012 and led to arrests in July 2013. Authorities seized 18.25 kilos of amphetamine, 12.28 kilos of cocaine, 5 kilos of ketamine, 412 diazepam tablets, and 342g of cannabis resin with a combined street value of approximately £5.25 million, along with a firearm and £100,000 in cash.

Jason O'Brien beat his friend Michael Carrielies to death on November 28, 2013, at Meadow House on Upper Spon Street following a city centre drinking session. O'Brien asked a local shopkeeper to call an ambulance after the incident. Police arrested him at the scene, and a post-mortem revealed Mr Carrielies died from multiple injuries.
Denied murder but was convicted by a jury. Detective Inspector Ian Iliffe commented on the brutality of the killing and hoped the verdict brings closure to the family.

Azeem Akhtar, then 17, stabbed 16-year-old Azim Azam in the chest with a kitchen knife on September 16, 2013, while both were on the No 2 bus in Moseley. The attack was in revenge for a prior falling out, with Akhtar pulling on black gloves, hurling abuse, and stabbing Azim as he stepped off at Wake Green Road. Azim died from the single wound despite attempts to revive him. Akhtar acted normally afterward, attending a youth course and meeting a mentor before handing himself in the next day.
Admitted the murder. Sentenced after pleading guilty.

They employed subcontractors 'off-record', pocketed Income Tax and National Insurance contributions, and created fake invoices to claim VAT refunds. The investigation uncovered a complex web involving more than 100 businesses. Cash seizures included £95,000 from West Midlands properties, £37,000 from Bristol addresses, and £38,400 from Manchester sites.

The duo lived together in a Bordesley Green flat. They were arrested in September 2010 after explicit photos were discovered by Yates' stepsister in March 2010.

A postal worker armed with a scythe appeared, and armed police ambushed the gang, shooting Smith in the left arm and chest. The raid was set up after a post office engineer spotted a tampered window. Smith was rushed to hospital and later recovered.

EWS created forged paperwork detailing fictitious recycling. The fraud was uncovered by the Environment Agency’s National Investigations Team due to suspicious paperwork from the warehouse in Devon Street, Nechells, Birmingham.

Jason Andrews took part in the savage torture and murder of former soldier Brian Farmer in Yardley, Birmingham. Brian Farmer, 64, a father of two who served 22 years in the Army including in Northern Ireland and the Gulf, was found dead in his Yardley flat on May 19, 2012. He had been stabbed, had broken ribs, and suffered severe bruising.

Toxicology tests found the drug in the baby's milk bottle. Bailey was taking the same medication for seizures. His mobile phone had search history for 'how to poison a baby' and 'how to kill a newborn baby'. The baby survived and is now safeguarded.

Forensic examination of the panels returned a DNA match to Simper and he was arrested from his home in Hazeldene Road, Sheldon a week later.

Jacobus Martinus Samson was part of a gang running a £60million drugs empire from a small office on a farm in Kempsey near Worcester. The operation involved smuggling cannabis, amphetamines and MDMA from the Netherlands using legitimate hauliers unaware of the cargo. Drugs were taken to haulage yards in West Mercia and Midlands before distribution to organised crime groups across the UK. Operation Goal by Warwickshire and West Mercia Police seized £13.5million worth of drugs including over 1000kg cannabis, 107kg MDMA and 64kg amphetamines.

Jamie Chapman committed a series of serious sexual offences against children dating back a decade. The offences occurred while he worked at Audley Primary School between 2006 and 2008, Marsh Hill Primary from 2011 to 2012, St Edmund Campion School in 2013, and while coaching a football team between 2011 and 2013. He befriended boys on social media by posing as teenage girls, sent them naked pictures obtained from Google to gain trust, coerced them into sending naked pictures of themselves, and threatened to share the images unless they complied, including performing sex acts. On one occasion, he raped a teenage boy. A report on 13 January 2016 to West Midlands Police about images online led to an investigation. He was arrested on 11 October 2016 at his home in Smiths Wood, Solihull, where computer equipment revealed 63 folders each containing images of a different male. None of the victims were linked to the nursery where he worked from February 2014.
Pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to 31 offences including raping a teenage boy, 21 counts of inciting sexual activity with children and nine counts of taking, making and distributing indecent photos of children.

The pair threw a banana skin and a shot glass before punching and kicking the victim as he lay on the ground.

Initiated and orchestrated the entire operation. Employed friend and accountant Gurpreet Singh Roewal. His Honour Judge Bond said he had taken a leading role in a sophisticated money laundering arrangement which required significant planning over a period of time. Paul Risby said he used his position as head of his family and local businessman to influence family members and associates.

Harjinder Singh, a 44-year-old West Midlands lettings agent and property developer of Stonnall Road, Aldridge, fraudulently obtained two separate Covid support loans. He had already claimed a legitimate £20,000 Bounce Back Loan for HP Property (International) Ltd in May 2020 when he applied for more the following month. He lied to a second bank, falsely declaring it was his first application, and secured a £30,000 Bounce Back Loan he was not entitled to. Migrants who sought help were forced to work in car washes and cannabis farms. The pair admitted to immigration and drugs charges, and fraud over a £10,000 National Lottery Community Fund grant. Self-styled prophet Michael Oluronbi abused his position of trust in his church to rape six women and one man over 20 years, starting from the 1980s, in Birmingham and London. He convinced victims to take part in 'spiritual bathing' to 'cleanse' them of evil spirits, which was a pretext for sexual abuse. Some female victims became pregnant multiple times and were taken to abortion clinics by Oluronbi. Offences involved at least 88 separate rapes. He was arrested at Birmingham Airport in May 2018 while attempting to leave for Nigeria.
Found guilty of 15 counts of rape, seven counts of indecent assault and two counts of sexual assault. Judge described it as one of the worst cases of sexual abuse of multiple children. Required to sign the sex offenders' register for life.

Mohammed Qasim lured a drug dealer and driver Richard Hopley into a secluded area for a robbery during a drug deal. Qasim got into the car pretending to buy drugs, produced a knife and stabbed Hopley. Two others attacked the car as it moved away with Qasim on board. Qasim and a fourth man escaped to Pakistan. Qasim returned to the UK after the trial of the two who remained, who were convicted of manslaughter and conspiracy to rob.

Mohammed Schwitters
Sexual assault on a child *

Mohammed Schwitters, from Birmingham, sexually abused a child over a period of seven years starting when the girl was just 10-years-old. It happened between 2010 and 2017. Police arrested him when the offences were reported in 2017 but he skipped the country during the investigation. Officers from the Public Protection Unit tracked him down in Toronto, Canada, on 1 September 2020 using his mobile phone number and bank accounts. He was extradited back to the UK.
Pleaded guilty to four counts of sexual assault on a child, three counts of attempted rape and three counts of assault by penetration. Will remain on the Sex Offender Register for life.
