On one occasion, he raped a teenage boy. A report on 13 January 2016 to West Midlands Police about images online led to an investigation. He was arrested on 11 October 2016 at his home in Smiths Wood, Solihull, where computer equipment revealed 63 folders each containing images of a different male. None of the victims were linked to the nursery where he worked from February 2014.
Pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to 31 offences including raping a teenage boy, 21 counts of inciting sexual activity with children and nine counts of taking, making and distributing indecent photos of children.
