Andrew Shephard, while helping his daughter rehome three young kittens, drunkenly threw them from a box into the River Thames from Twickenham Bridge in south-west London in November 2025. Witnesses heard him yelling 'let them die' and 'I want them to die'. One kitten was caught before hitting the water, and the other two were found wet, muddy, and in shock but alive. He later told police he did not know what came over him and was very drunk.
Pleaded guilty to three counts of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal. Expressed remorse and attributed actions to intoxication. Magistrate noted good chance of rehabilitation.

Michael Ebenazer Owuo Junior, known as Stormzy, was caught using a mobile phone while driving a Rolls Royce Wraith in Kensington on March 7, 2024. An off-duty police officer witnessed the incident and confronted him.
