She also possessed an image of extreme pornography depicting an act threatening a person's life. Nightingale instigated much of the communication due to loneliness and reported Lee to police in January 2014 after becoming concerned about references to sexual activity with his supposed 12-year-old niece Alice, who was fictitious.
Pleaded guilty to three charges of making indecent photos of children and possessing an image of extreme pornography. Ordered to register as sex offender for five years. Mark Smith
Possessing a prohibited firearm *
Sentence
15 months imprisonment suspended for 18 months, 18-month conditional discharge, fined £500
Mark Smith unknowingly inherited an illegal firearm, silencers, and cartridges from his late great-aunt who died in 1984. The items were stored unopened in potato boxes from her farm near Southam until 1989/90 when they were moved to Radbourne Manor Farm near Marston Doles. In approximately 2004/2005, while sorting through the boxes for space, Smith discovered the prohibited weapon wrapped in hessian sacking with shearing machine heads. Believing it to be an old humane dispatch tool for animals and too dangerous to fire due to its age, he did not realise it was prohibited and failed to hand it in, instead storing it in a metal cupboard where it was found by police in November 2014.
Pleaded guilty. Unusual circumstances considered by Recorder Adrian Redgrave QC.

Police raided her home and seized four phones. She admitted receiving a clip via WhatsApp and forwarding it via Facebook to show a friend, but due to lack of technological knowledge, posted it publicly. She removed it after objections. Videos on her phones included a boy aged four or five having oral sex and simulating intercourse with a girl of about 16, and horrific images of sexual mutilation of boys aged about five or six. She also possessed bestiality images, which she claimed she found distasteful but did not know were illegal. She had been using her phone to seek work as a dinner lady.
Pleaded guilty to five charges of possessing indecent images of children and two of distributing them, and possessing and publishing images of extreme pornography. Ordered to register as a sex offender for ten years and made subject to a sexual offences prevention order banning her from working with children. This failure to protect allowed Brown to violently shake Khaleel, causing fatal brain injuries. Kauser made a 999 call upon returning, but initially claimed the child had fallen down the stairs. The jury convicted her of allowing the death by not taking reasonable steps to safeguard her son, whom she loved and raised as a single mother. The images were deliberately saved in folders titled such as 'schoolgirls' and 'Lolita desires', hidden with encryption software, and Hewitson had searched for terms like 'pre-teen' and 'Lolita'.
