She told a traffic warden she was picking up her father but returned alone nine minutes later. A Stoke-on-Trent City Council investigation confirmed the badge belonged to her dead father. The incident occurred in June 2021, and she was charged with unlawfully using a disabled person’s badge and fraud by false representation.
Magistrates accepted it was a silly mistake. She explained in court that she used the badge because her mum had no change and it was not for her own gain.

Harvey Jackson, a 22-year-old from Burton, was involved in drug dealing and weapons offences. He was first stopped in October 2021 after leaving a property on Waterloo Street, where police seized two packages of heroin and crack cocaine, a lock knife, £210 in cash, and an iPhone. A search of the address revealed scales, more suspected class A drugs, and three mobile phones. In March 2022, he was spotted driving a Seat Ibiza in East Staffordshire, abandoned the vehicle in Derby, and fled from officers, dropping a phone. Further evidence of drug supply was found at his home, leading to his arrest and guilty plea.
