Barry Gilbert, of Blakemore, Brookside, Telford, committed a series of thefts from local supermarkets in March 2026. The spree began on 12 March when he stole chocolate of unknown value from a Co-op store. On 13 March, he stole chocolate valued at £182 from Tesco. On 15 March, he stole meat and chocolate from Co-op. On 16 March, he stole milk and laundry items worth £70 from Co-op. On 17 March, he stole £100 worth of chocolate from Co-op. On 20 March, he stole a basket of groceries from Tesco. The spree concluded on 28 March with £80 worth of Lindt chocolate stolen from Tesco Express in Woodside.
Pleaded guilty to all seven counts of theft from a shop. Sentences to be served concurrently. No orders for compensation or court costs due to limited means.

On 2 October 2024, Craig Lynas, 49, of Coronation Crescent in Madeley, was driving a black Kia Ceed on Court Road in Madeley when he failed to stop for a police constable in uniform. Investigations revealed he was driving while disqualified, without third-party insurance, and without due care and attention. He failed to co-operate with a preliminary roadside drug wipe and refused to provide a blood specimen for analysis. This was his sixth offence for driving whilst disqualified and fifth for driving with excess alcohol.

On Tuesday 10 March 2026, at 7.52pm, Reed Beers shone a green laser at a National Police Air Service fixed-wing plane assisting ground officers in searching for a suspect with a suspected firearm in Ketley Bank, Telford. The aircraft had been circling for 59 minutes. The laser's origin was pinpointed to his address on Old Office Road in Dawley. Upon arrest, Beers claimed he was using a red laser from an air rifle to photograph a drone, denying knowledge of any aircraft and ownership of a green laser. However, two green laser pens were found hidden in his property, and NPAS footage confirmed the laser came from his home. No photos of aircraft were on his camera.

On 1 August 2023, the 43-year-old woman from Telford directed homophobic abuse at a pub licensee before grabbing the hand and clothing of another customer. She was drunk and carrying a baby at the time. When police officers arrived, she kicked one of them.
Pleaded guilty to being drunk in charge of a child, assault, public order offence, and assaulting an emergency worker. Community order increased to reflect the hate crime and the assault on the emergency worker. Ordered to pay compensation to each victim.
