Pled guilty to four breaches of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order. Judge Hassan Khan noted that the acts seemed impulsive and that there was a prospect of rehabilitation. He was also ordered to complete up to 26 rehabilitation days and 150 hours of unpaid work within 12 months, with a warning that any further breach would result in activation of the sentence.

On 30 December 2016, Lavinia Woodward, a 24-year-old medical student at Christ Church, Oxford, stabbed her boyfriend, a Cambridge University student, in the lower leg with a bread knife during an argument in her Oxford accommodation. The incident occurred after she had been drinking and became angry when he contacted her mother for help. She threw objects, picked up the knife, and stabbed him while he called 999. She was restrained as she attempted to harm herself. The injuries were relatively minor.
