On November 29, 2024, he was arrested with support from the Metropolitan Police Service, leading to the seizure of more than £10,000 in cash, a bullet, a knife, a Louis Vuitton bag, a diamond ring, a diamond necklace, and numerous mobile phones. He denied involvement in county line drug dealing and provided false explanations for the items.
Pleaded guilty to the charges. Attempted to explain away evidence as earnings from managing musical artists and hairdressing, and claimed jewellery and a designer bag were borrowed, but these explanations were proven false. The sentence reflects his role in the supply chain.

In the early hours of April 11, 2025, Michael Tremarco stole 23 boxes of shoes worth almost £23,000 from a curtain-sided lorry at Medway Services on the M2 in Gillingham. A security guard witnessed a person loitering near the vehicle, and shortly after, a man was seen running to another lorry that left the scene. The theft damaged the lorry's side, and the driver, who had been asleep, confirmed the incident. Police were alerted, tracked the suspect lorry to Cadogan Terrace in Stratford, arrested Tremarco, and recovered the stolen items. He was charged with theft, driving without insurance, and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
Pleaded guilty to the charges. Investigating officer described it as an organised crime executed in the early hours, with a warning to others committing crimes in the county.

Andy Gilchrist was riding his motorcycle at more than 60mph in a 50mph zone on the A262 Tenterden Road in Biddenden on September 18, 2022, when he collided with 72-year-old Christopher Smith, who was crossing the road after stepping off a bus. Witnesses reported Gilchrist overtaking vehicles at 75 to 78mph prior to the collision. Smith suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene, while a passenger on Gilchrist’s bike sustained a serious leg injury.
Found guilty of causing death by careless driving and causing serious injury by careless driving. Also received an 18-month driving disqualification.
Roger Crabtree

Roger Crabtree, subject to an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order due to previous convictions, was found to have downloaded illegal images and videos of children on a laptop during an unannounced police visit to his home in Rectory Close, Snodland, on November 2, 2023. The devices contained 33 illegal images and videos, including several in the highest category showing children being subjected to abuse. He also unlawfully deleted internet history on a Kindle device in January 2024.

Brian Bissell repeatedly abused a girl from when she was 10 years old during the 1960s and 1970s. The abuse included incidents in her home via her bedroom window, at his flat in Ravenswood Avenue, in his car, and at an isolated location in Brokes Wood. A complex investigation began in 2018, leading to an initial trial in 2023 where the jury could not reach a verdict for this victim. A retrial in March 2025 resulted in his conviction for five counts of rape.
Denied wrongdoing; convicted after retrial. Detective Constable Hannah Crittenden noted that he abused the trust of the victim and her parents, exerting control over a vulnerable child, with lasting impacts on the victim's life.

Jerry Maughan, 25, from Maya Place in Wood Green, Haringey, pretended to pet a dog's head before snatching a handbag from a 92-year-old pensioner and knocking her to the ground near a churchyard in Rainham, Kent. The incident occurred on March 11, 2024, resulting in the victim sustaining a face injury. He fled the scene on Church Path, and police arrested him at a nearby address approximately three hours later. He was charged the following day.
Pleaded guilty to the offence. Detective Constable Emma Laimbeer described the act as despicable, noting that he had contempt for the victim and that his actions had a lasting impact.

Yuan Hang played a leading role in the prostitution of vulnerable trafficked women at over 50 brothel locations across the UK, including in Kent towns such as Canterbury, Chatham, Dartford, Gillingham, Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells. Some women were brought into the country illegally and forced into sex work to pay off family debts. The operation involved coercion, deceit and exploitation for selfish, greedy reasons, impacting local communities with noise, criminal damage and constant visits.
Pleaded guilty to conspiracy to control prostitution for gain and possessing criminal property. Aged 39, of no fixed address. Arrested several months before August 2021 after giving himself up to police following a warrant at a rented flat in London. Minimal employment history but heavy gambler driving expensive cars and visiting high-end retailers.
