Edward George McIntosh was driving a Honda Jazz on the A44 in Penybont on May 1 2026 when he drifted into the opposite lane and collided with a Toyota Hilux travelling in the opposite direction. The other vehicle suffered damage to its wheel arch, while McIntosh's vehicle suffered extensive front end damage. Dashcam footage from a vehicle behind the defendant captured the collision.

Admitted careless driving. The court accepted the collision was caused by a momentary lapse of concentration. Last before a criminal court in 1995 for a cannabis offence.
