Craig Winston, a former Gloucestershire Police student officer, committed multiple sexual offences off-duty against two women. He also sexually assaulted the second woman by penetration while she was asleep. The offences came to light after he joined the police in January 2022; he was arrested in October 2022 and resigned in February 2023. Evidence showed he researched online about sexually assaulting drugged or unconscious individuals and had an interest in degrading and punishing through sexual abuse. One victim described him as a 'selfish, twisted, depraved bully' who threatened her to prevent reporting.
Must serve at least two-thirds before release on licence. 20-year restraining order issued to protect both victims. Pleaded not guilty; found guilty after trial. Of previous good character with difficult childhood cited in mitigation.

Sean Cox, 21, of Severn Way in Cressage, Shrewsbury, was driving a Vauxhall Corsa with illegal front tyres below the legal tread depth on the wet B4376 road in Much Wenlock. He picked up his 17-year-old friend Madison Evans minutes before losing control and crashing into a tree at approximately 73mph on November 28, 2023. Madison was ejected from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries, pronounced dead at the scene. Cox initially claimed to be driving at 65mph on the 60mph road, but investigation revealed the speedometer fixed at 70mph post-crash.
Initially denied the charge but entered a guilty plea in November 2025 ahead of the trial. Judge's sentence commended by PC Steve Wootton for removing a dangerous driver from the roads.

On 10 July 2024, in Wem, Shropshire, Jamie Henderson-Jones, aged 26, of Brookside in Wem, attacked PC Jack Harper during an arrest attempt related to driving an uninsured and seized Audi A3 on Station Road. Henderson-Jones pushed the officer, covered his face, followed him downstairs, punched him in the back of the head multiple times, causing PC Harper's left arm and upper body to go through a glass window, resulting in a fractured left eye socket. He also pushed PCSO Liz Walmsey into a wall. Henderson-Jones was arrested shortly after. He was charged with grievous bodily harm, assault by beating of an emergency worker, driving whilst disqualified, using a motor vehicle without third party insurance, and criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.
Pleaded guilty in September to all charges. Superintendent Edward Hancox commented on the violent and cowardly attack, emphasizing that violence against police officers is unacceptable.

Stolen items including toiletries, chocolates, and cosmetics were also recovered. He ran a county line supplying heroin, crack cocaine, monkey dust, cannabis, and amphetamine in Telford.

Ufran Khan was spotted in a parked white Mercedes near a One Stop shop on Dawley Road in Arleston in February of the previous year, where police observed a drug exchange. He fled from officers, throwing class A drugs that landed in a child's pram and knocking over another child during the chase. He was apprehended and arrested on suspicion of possession of a class A drug. A subsequent search of his address on Acacia Drive in Leegomery uncovered additional drugs, including heroin, crack cocaine, and cannabis, with an estimated total value of £26,000.
Pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of heroin, being concerned in the supply of cocaine, and two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs. During the arrest, he knocked over a child and threw drugs near a pram, with further drugs found at his address valued at approximately £26,000.

On December 15, 2023, Daniel Dodd, aged 27, was working as a bouncer at Albert’s Shed nightclub in Telford town centre. The victim, a young dad in an intoxicated state, started to climb a fence outside the venue in Southwater. Dodd shoved the man in the chest, causing him to fall to the ground and suffer a fractured and dislocated ankle. The victim was taken to Princess Royal Hospital in Telford, where a metal plate was inserted into his foot, which will remain for life. He spent an extended period in hospital and was prescribed strong painkillers containing opioids for several months afterwards.
Used excessive and unnecessary force while working as a bouncer. Lost his job as a result.
