The Home Office alerted police on October 22, 2021. He voluntarily admitted the breaches at Birkenhead police station. Previously convicted in 2017 of inciting a girl under 16 to engage in sexual activity, receiving a suspended prison sentence and seven years on the register.

He continued the non-consensual sexual intercourse despite her telling him to stop, pushing him away, and crying. Afterwards, he became angry at her distress, gaslighted and manipulated her into believing it was her fault, and waged a vindictive social media campaign including a fake Instagram profile to undermine her. Shabani, of Rectory Road, Crumpsall, Manchester, lied during the trial.

Fitwi Tekeste, 29, from Park Road in Toxteth, convinced a teenager he was her Uber driver after a night out, but abducted and sexually assaulted her for nearly two hours while driving down the M62. He was charged by Merseyside Police and later admitted sexual assault at Liverpool Crown Court.

Elliot Troy sexually abused a boy aged between 9 and 12 when he himself was aged between 11 and 15. Offences included rubbing his penis against the boy's bottom at age 11, orally raping the boy on at least three occasions with grooming involving rewards on Xbox and showing porn, and raping the boy when Troy was 15 and victim 12. Abuse started earlier when Troy was 6-7 and victim 3-4 but not sentenced for those. Victim disclosed in 2017, leading to Troy's arrest.

He was detained by the group and arrested by police.
Pleaded guilty to five counts of attempting to cause a child to engage in sexual activity, two counts of attempting to cause a child to watch sexual activity, one count of attempting to meet a child after grooming, one of attempted sexual communication with a child and one of attempting to cause a child to engage in sexual communication. No prior convictions. Judge Brian Cummings noted the short course of offending over 12 days but serious nature. Also subject to indefinite sexual harm prevention order and sex offender register for same period as sentence.

Ethan Owen, of Amelia Street in Orford, was sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court after pleading guilty to distributing and encouraging others to send indecent images of children on Snapchat. The court heard that between 11 May and 17 May last year, the 23-year-old distributed three category A videos, which feature the most severe forms of abuse such as child rape, and one category C video to other profiles on Snapchat. Owen also encouraged other Snapchat users to send images back to him, which included depraved images of children aged around eight years old. Between September 2022 and May 2025, Owen made three indecent images of children on his device, one in each category A, B and C. Police officers attended his address to arrest him, but he was not present at the time. Owen was arrested at his place of work and his phone was seized by officers, who examined the device and uncovered his depraved chats. The court heard that Owen suffers from anxiety and depression and was of previous good character.
Pleaded guilty. Sexual harm prevention order imposed; must remain on sex offenders register until further order. Court heard he suffered from anxiety and depression and was of previous good character.
