On 17 April, he entered a medical centre through an emergency exit and stole a petty cash tin containing £313. On 17 June, he broke into Holden Smith Law at Cross Gates, stole two laptops worth £650, ate food at the scene, and left faeces on the floor as a 'calling card'. On 26 June, he entered St James’ Hospital and stole a laptop, headphones, credit card, and cash from a surgeon, then used the credit card to buy cigarettes but fled when the shop worker became suspicious. On 27 June, he stole a till containing £50 from a charity shop. On 28 June, he stole a £6,000 bicycle. On 2 July, he broke into a building site using a screwdriver, took a phone, two tablets, and a laptop, and defecated on the floor. He was caught after smashing a window of a fast food shop and crawling inside. He refused a drugs test at the police station. His actions were linked to a chaotic lifestyle with some drug misuse.
Admitted eight burglaries, one charge of fraud and failing to provide a sample for drug testing. Heavily convicted with more than 37 prior burglaries. Break-ins aggravated by gratuitous soiling of properties. Judge commented on his lengthy record for non-dwelling burglaries and the disgusting act of leaving faeces.
