He gave a breath reading of 106 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than three times the legal limit of 35. He had consumed excessive alcohol during a celebration with friends.
Pleaded guilty. Expressed remorse. Can reduce disqualification by completing drink-driver rehabilitation course. Ordered to pay £200 costs and victim surcharge.

Jenniene Baker was caught driving while disqualified for a third time, just six weeks after being banned for two years for driving on a revoked licence. She claimed she was heading to her former workplace, Elme Hall Hotel, for refuge after her husband threatened to burn down their home in Hollycroft Road, Emneth. She had previous convictions for driving while disqualified and was stopped three times last year for driving without a licence. She tried to call the police but they refused to attend.
Pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and having no insurance. Also admitted breaching an 18-month community order. Disqualified from driving for three years and ordered to pay a £95 victim surcharge. Community order continued unchanged.

The offence was captured on CCTV and goods were recovered after he was stopped outside the store.

A blood test showed 5.3 micrograms of a cannabis breakdown product per litre, exceeding the legal limit of two.
Pleaded guilty to drug-driving and having no insurance. Used cannabis to alleviate stress. Insurance lapsed due to auto-renew issue. No separate penalty for insurance offence.

On November 7, 2021, during a fireworks event at the Queen Victoria pub in Snettisham, Mark Farrell, 41, of Parkside, was involved in a disturbance. Police were called a few minutes into the event and found him outside acting aggressively, possibly after being assaulted. He continued shouting, swearing, and making threats of violence towards officers and members of the public, leading to his arrest for being drunk and disorderly. He had to be physically restrained as he tried to approach others.
Pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in public. Ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge. Bench noted they could only deal with the offence before them. In mitigation, defendant stated it was his first visit to the pub, a row broke out, he was assaulted resulting in damage to his teeth (subject of ongoing police investigation), and admitted acting out of order when police arrived.

On June 23, 2021, at about 7.20pm on the Fairstead estate in Lynn, Marcus Gohn, under the influence of ketamine, assaulted a police officer during an arrest attempt at his home in Filberts, Fairstead. Police were called after he was reported as 'gone nuts and off his face, throwing punches.' He fled, discarded suspected drugs, resisted handcuffing, swung a can of beer at the officer covering him in beer, and nearly put the sergeant in a headlock before being subdued with public and backup assistance. He also committed a public order offence outside his son’s home in Lynn on December 12, 2021.
Pleaded guilty to assaulting an emergency worker and a public order offence. Ordered to pay £200 compensation to the officer. Making progress on a current community order addressing drug dependency on cocaine and ketamine.

On August 26, 2021, at around 9.15pm, Anna Cosby, 43, of St Peter’s Road, West Lynn, drove a Ford Focus a short distance to a fuel station in Clenchwarton Road to buy cigarettes after drinking alcohol. She could have walked the ten minutes to the garage. Following a tip-off, police spotted her driving into the car park of the adjacent McDonald’s restaurant where she works. She was arrested after providing a positive breath test and later gave a reading of 202 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, exceeding the legal limit of 80.
Pleaded guilty to drink-driving. Two previous drink-driving convictions, the most recent marginally outside the ten-year period for higher sentencing. Refused drink-driving rehabilitation course as she had completed one twice. Ordered to pay £105 costs plus £34 victim surcharge.
Alfie Juby

Alfie Juby assaulted Angus Turner in The Lattice House pub on November 26, 2021. CCTV captured Juby approaching Turner, who was sitting with friends, and saying 'you’re a snob, your dad is rich, I’d bang both of you'. Juby then slapped Turner across the face, leading to a melee where Turner pushed him away. Turner suffered a bloodied nose. Juby admitted the assault in interview, claiming Turner must have said something to annoy him.
Pleaded guilty to the offence. Was intoxicated at the time and has since moved away from the area, obtained a home for his family and a job.
