The pursuit lasted about 15 minutes, during which he drove down a dirt track and eventually into a dead end before attempting to flee on foot. He was apprehended and detained.

Eight months later, he committed a similar theft at the same jewellers, taking a ring worth over £1000. In June, he stole a large bag containing raffle prizes from St Peter’s Church in Shipley, which belonged to a dementia charity group. He also entered the changing rooms at Saltaire cricket club during matches, stealing items including a mobile phone and bank cards, which he used fraudulently. In January this year, he stole an iPhone from a shop in Bradford and snatched another phone from a pubgoer’s jacket.
Pleaded guilty to a series of offences including non-dwelling burglary, theft, and fraud. Had 48 previous convictions, and the judge described the actions as a campaign of offending.

The teenager had no recollection of the taxi ride and woke up to find Walsh performing a sex act on her while unconscious. Swabs taken at hospital revealed traces of his DNA. The incident involved a significant degree of planning and intent to take advantage of her vulnerability, as shown by CCTV footage of her struggling to walk, crawling, and being carried.
Pleaded guilty to rape and assault by penetration on the third day of trial. Must register as a sex offender for life. Subject to a 10-year restraining order.

She told police in a statement that the teenager was not drunk and did not need help, despite CCTV footage showing the girl struggling to walk, crawling on hands and feet, and being carried. These false statements were made to pervert the course of justice and protect her father.
Pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice by telling lies to police to protect her father. Subject to a 10-year restraining order. Judge noted she told a 'pack of lies' causing profound psychological harm to the victim.
