Connor Wright, 23, of no fixed abode, was arrested on Saturday after officers located him at an address he was banned from under the terms of a Domestic Violence Protective Order (DVPO). On Wednesday, February 11, he had been given a suspended 36-week sentence for a number of shop thefts in Shrewsbury. Breaching the order led to the activation of the suspended sentence and an additional custodial term.

In October 2023, Craig Stephan Tibbitts drove while intoxicated, exhibiting poor standard of driving reported by members of the public. He was pulled over, breathalysed, and found to have 69 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcg. During arrest, he resisted by pushing officers' hands away, closing his window, locking the car doors, and refusing to open them, necessitating police to smash a window. He was restrained, handcuffed, and a subsequent test showed 55mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath.
Pleaded guilty to drink-driving. Third conviction for the offense. Prior convictions in 2016 and 2020. Resisted arrest by pushing officers' hands away, closing window, locking doors, requiring police to smash window to gain entry.
