Tyrone Felton, a 54-year-old delivery driver from Neath, was sentenced at Swansea Crown Court for attempting to meet a child following sexual grooming, attempted sexual communications with a child, and arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sexual offence. Upon arrival in his company van, he was confronted by plain-clothes officers from Dyfed-Powys Police; his van's internal CCTV cameras had been deliberately obscured with a fleece jacket and caps. He was arrested and gave 'no comment' in interview. He pleaded guilty and received a two-year custodial sentence, with a five-year sexual harm prevention order and sex offender registration.

William John Field
Possessing and distributing indecent images of children *
Sentence
2 years 4 months imprisonment
William John Field, 54-year-old resident of Queen Street in Aberystwyth, was found with over 420,000 indecent images and videos of child sexual abuse. This included 4,307 Category A images (the most severe, often showing rape and extreme abuse of children ranging from babies to teenagers), 4,328 Category B images, and 415,766 Category C images. Police also discovered an additional 1.3 million images that were not examined due to their sheer volume. Field had sold thousands of these indecent images to a sex offender in the Midlands for £200, actively participating in the trade of child sexual abuse material.
Judge Paul Thomas QC described the Category A images as 'depraved beyond belief' and said Field's actions 'fuel the evil trade'. Field's barrister argued he had an addictive personality and joined Sex Addicts Anonymous.
