Nicky Barratt, 36, of Griffith John Street, Dyfatty, Swansea, engaged in a shoplifting spree over three weeks prior to December 11, 2025, stealing goods worth £861.40 from Co-op and Tesco Express shops in Swansea. The stolen items included more than 65 blocks of cheese, bottles and boxes of wine, cans of pre-mixed rum and whiskey, biscuits, barbeque ribs, chocolate, and soft drinks. He was arrested on December 11, 2025, in a Tesco Express caught red-handed with boxes of chocolates worth more than £330.
Pleaded guilty to five counts of theft from a shop. With a discount for his guilty pleas, he will serve 40% of the sentence in custody before being released on licence.

Phillip Jones, 44, from Brynhyfryd, Swansea, was involved in a drugs operation supplying large quantities of cocaine to dealers in Wales alongside his ex-wife Lisa Regan. He laundered cash through a café in Blaenymaes. Pictures on his mobile phone showed him cutting up a kilo of cocaine. He was arrested after being escorted off an easyJet flight upon landing in the UK.
Pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine, two counts of possession with intent to supply cocaine, concealing criminal property and driving whilst disqualified.

Tracy Lewis, 54, from Llandybie, Carmarthenshire, was caught buying large amounts of drugs from Lisa Regan and ran her own drugs operation in the Ammanford area, supplying cocaine, crack cocaine and cannabis to local communities.
Pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine, crack cocaine and cannabis, possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession of cocaine and possession of criminal property (£1,937 in cash).

Lisa Regan, 53, from Portmead, Swansea, oversaw a drugs operation supplying large quantities of cocaine to dealers in Wales. She laundered cash obtained from drug supplies through a café in Blaenymaes. She was arrested after being escorted off an easyJet flight upon landing in the UK following a trip abroad, as part of a drugs investigation.
Pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine, possession with intent to supply cocaine and concealing criminal property.

On October 19, 2025, following an initial assault by Lewis Dight who struck Jamie Glover on the head with a metal pole over a dog lead dispute in McRitchie Place, Gendros, Swansea, Glover armed himself with a baseball bat and returned to confront Dight, who was now armed with a knife and metal pole. Glover retreated inside his house upon seeing the knife, leading to a struggle at the door. He admitted his involvement to police upon their arrival and was taken to hospital for his head wound.
Sentenced for his part in the disturbance. Has 16 previous convictions for 29 offences.

Nicholas Blackwell, 35, of Madoc Close, Brackla, Bridgend, a removal man, committed two fly-tipping offences. The first incident occurred in October 2024 at Heol Y Felin, Croeserw, where he dumped a large amount of household waste and set it alight. The second incident was in November 2024 on waste ground off Chain Road, Glynneath, involving a mattress, rug, suitcase, cardboard packaging, baby walker, television, black bags, carrier bags, and white plastic piping. Evidence from the waste linked it to clients who hired him via a Facebook advert. He lacked a valid waste carrier licence, confirmed by Natural Resources Wales and the Environment Agency.
Pleaded guilty to two offences under the Environmental Protection Act in July 2024. Van seized and crushed by Bridgend Council as it was unregistered and unfit for the road.
