He used search terms including '13yo' and 'girl w***' and breached his Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO) from Gloucester Crown Court by deleting search history and failing to hand over devices during a routine police visit on August 6, 2020. Devices revealed 74 Category A images of pre-pubescent girls aged two-four, three-six and six-10, along with use of virtual software to hide activity.
Pleaded guilty to deleting data in breach of his SOPO and four counts of possessing indecent images of children. Has two previous convictions for 15 offences. Judge Simon Medland QC noted persistent breach offending close in time to his 2018 community order.

He failed to notify police of his change of address after his flat was damaged by fire. Police found him during a compliance check in November 2021.

He later drove away from Clieves Hill, speeding down a country lane before losing control and crashing into a farmhouse's stone wall shortly after 21:00 GMT. He was travelling at 57mph on a bend with a 40mph limit. Max Greenhouse, 17, died; the other two passengers were seriously injured.

He forced her over a vehicle in a secluded area on Parsonage Rd, attempted to rape her, threatened to kick the f*** out of her despite her crying and pleading. Stopped when a car drove past. Victim suffered sleepless nights, stress, anxiety, fear of going out alone. CCTV showed attack lasted two minutes.
Pleaded guilty on the second day of trial. Deemed a dangerous offender presenting high risk of serious harm to sex workers and women in whom he has a sexual interest. Prior conviction for rape in Runcorn, Cheshire, for which he was jailed for seven years.

Nigel Turner, from Morecambe, Lancashire, repeatedly raped and sexually assaulted two young children on multiple occasions. He distributed multiple indecent images of the children (IIOC), including images showing him sexually abusing one of the children, via an online messaging app using a false name account. Officers seized his phone upon arrest in November 2021, finding images and videos of the rapes, assaults, and sexual activity in front of the children. He was identified as the suspect from clothing, jewellery, and voice recognition despite his face not being visible.
Pleaded guilty to all 21 charges. Given a lifetime Sexual Harm Prevention Order and put on the Sex Offenders Register for life.

Scott Smith, director of Alpine Roofing & Building Ltd, responded to a call from an 82-year-old Preston householder experiencing a leak after storm damage. After an online search, the householder agreed to repair works costing £13,000, paying £6,000 upfront by bank card. Work began that day but was substandard and incomplete: ridge and hip tiles were unsatisfactorily repointed, but no replacement of the affected roof area was done as agreed. Smith pressured for the remaining payment but did not return after non-payment. An independent expert found the work worthless. The householder got a £6,000 refund via bank and paid £450 more to fix the issues.
Pleaded guilty. Also received a four-month curfew from 9.30pm–6.30am, a three-year director disqualification and ordered to pay £450 compensation.

Boyle, then using the name Donald Maxwell Wells, had changed his name by deed poll after a prior conviction for child abuse in the late 1980s and moved to Llewelyn Street, Aberffraw, Ty Croes, Gwynedd, Wales. He denied wrongdoing when interviewed but later pleaded guilty.

David Holt, director of V10 Polymers Ltd, operated a waste plastics recycling business at Rockcliffe Works, Paterson Street, Blackburn. Despite Environment Agency interventions from 2012, including a formal notice to remove waste and later issuance of an environmental permit in April 2014 requiring fire prevention measures, he stored excessive quantities of combustible plastic waste presenting a fire risk, breaching the permit. Permit revoked February 2016 with requirement to remove waste by 21 March 2016, but he continued illegal operations. Multiple fires occurred, including on 21 August 2017.
Admitted three environmental offences. Ordered to pay £10,000 towards Environment Agency’s costs. Court accepted good character and efforts to maintain the business.

He left his approved premises in Manchester in September after harassment by other residents and failed to notify police of his change of address or homelessness. He was at large for around six weeks before being found hiding in a derelict property in Central Drive, Blackpool, with a vulnerable woman present. He refused to give his identity to officers.
Pleaded guilty to breaching his notification requirements. Recorder John Jones KC noted a six-week period of non-compliance and imposed immediate custody as short as possible to protect the public. He is working and receiving treatment for mental health and substance misuse in prison.

Thompson was originally jailed in 2005 for raping a four-year-old child.

The victim disclosed the full extent two years later, leading to his arrest; he denied offences until after trial began.
